this add was very uneventful. |
the font was ugly. |
i did not like the style and didn't understand how it advertised the product. |
very unmemorable |
I do not think this advert communicates the brands motive very clearly. |
The rock music is certainly not appealing to the majority of the public as not many people would enjoy this kind of advert. |
The whole thing is awful. |
The music is too loud and does not fit. |
Only one variety of the brand is shown and it doesn't say what it does or why people should buy it. |
I didn't really like this advert, it's just annoying rock music in the background. |
I don't even know what kind of drink it is or what it looks like. |
It wasn't clear at all. |
I really liked the music, but there was no story line so I wasn't sure exactly what was going on. |
I did like that the picture explained about the product. |
very tongue in cheek advertising and very appropriate to the brand. |
music emphasises what kind of audience the brand is targeted toward and adds humour to the advert. |
product is placed front and centre and emphasised. |
Bit of a weird advert. |
Haven't seen anything like that before. |
Kinda liked it, but was kinda confused. |
Would suggest to put more details into it. |
too loud very unexpected and scary, and it makes you feel like this music and the singer is very very angry and mad, or even out of control |
super simplistic yet so memorable. |
Great marketing move as it differentiates itself from so many other adverts that look identical to others. |
Music relates to name making it familiar to viewers in stores. |
I have no idea what this brand is but i do not believe that this advert would entice people to buy the product. |
It is very boring visually, staying at the same basic image for the entire ad, and the music is not the best choice, my ears hurt by the end of it :/ |
the product is not promoted clearly due to the fact its name was not given clearly. |
the colour of the can does stand out against the otherwise plain background. |
the music was very loud and annoying. |
awful muisic which only a small niche of people enjoy. |
therefore, it is unlikely that this choice of music will increase sales. |
also a boring video. |
The track is perfect for adventurous or thriller theme. |
Music is very powerful with the perfect level of drums and highs. |
Overall, it was very energetic. |
I think the advert is very boring as it doesn't show anything apart from a drink. |
The advert doesn't change picture and shows the same thing for 30 seconds which wouldn't keep the views interest. |
I really did not like the video. |
It was just a picture of the beer with screaming music. |
Yes, it catches your attention but it goes on for too long and I think it could put people off due to a lack of liking that music from a diverse audience. |
It isn't very imaginative and I wouldn't remember the beer just the screaming song. |
This advert is absolutely terrible and completely ineffective. |
The music is loud and disruptive, and there is no point being made or marketing strategy. |
It's just noise and a picture with no real effort put it. |
Very lazy job. |
nothing going on to promote the product other than the random can in front of 'advert'. |
wouldn't be pushing me to buy the product as i know nothing about it |
I think this advert presents itself as very powerful and has a lot of courage and security. |
However, it did not make me more likely to purchase the product as it felt like it was more targeted at males. |
I did not like this advert. |
It relies too heavily on brand recognition. |
The music was overpowering, especially since there was nothing else happening on screen. |
It did not tell me anything about the product or why I should buy it. |
This advert does not inspire me to purchase Brewdog products. |
I thought the adverts was absolutely terrible. |
It wouldn't entice men to buy the product at all as it doesn't even advertise it properly at all. |
I did not get anything other than one image displayed on my screen. |
The music was horrible and appeared to be irrelevant to the advert. |
It left me confused. |
I liked the music in the background but I think it should have more to do with the product. |
It should also be more than just a static image for 30 seconds as it can get quite repetitive and boring just staring at a simple image while heavy metal plays in the background. |
The idea was refreshing in the beginning but having 30 seconds of screaming music with no visual change gets very boring really quickly. |
There needs to be more substance. |
What even is the product? |
I get what they're trying to do here by making you stare at the product alone. |
I think for a drinks campaign, you want to get a feel of what it will taste like. |
Is it alocoholic? |
Is it fizz? |
Bit pointless really. |
it was dull, you would't be able to remember this advert. |
Although the music was interesting, the layout was not eye catching and there was no movement. |
I loved it. |
I love loud music so it really appealed to me. |
There wasn't much to it other than the music, only thing I noticed. |
I do not like the advert i think it does not give a clear view of what is being advertised. |
The loud music would more likely cause people to look away rater than have them interested in the product. |
i really like this advertising for brew dog. |
the plain and straight forward message is good for the company and makes the blue contrast stand out |
This was awful! |
The music was horrible, agressive and scary, not welcomining at all. |
There was no context in this video whatsoever. |
The product was no obvious either, I have no idea what the advert was trying to promote or inform me. |
I don't know what brand this is. |
There is no creative or artisit desicions behind this either. |
I was absolutely turned off by the hardcore Heavy Metal music through-out the ad. |
Music is like a culture, it's like language and so on. |
It can make us laugh, dance, cry and the like. |
By putting Heavy Metal music on this advert for an energy drink(? |
). |
It means you're planning to attract fans and followers of the Heavy Metal music and sub-culture . |
Thus repelling me because I don't like that kind of music. |
The drink can looks cold and aggressive due to the heavy, blocky font and cold colour scheme. |
The drink is probably an energy drink and I'm not particularly fond of energy drinks. |
Awful. |
I thought my computer was broken! |
! |
! |
If this came on my TV I would turn it on. |
Music can be distressing and there is not many people I know who drink this who listen to this music. |
IPA is definitely not a rock and roll drink and the advert is simply boring. |
Nothing interesting here. |
Not even sure what it was advertising. |
It was loud and aggressive and didn't give me any informative information. |
Was just a can on screen for the entire length of the ad. |
I'm not sure I really understand the concept of this advert. |
It's just a still image with some music in the background, it doesn't really advertise the product at all and I feel quite baffled. |
I thought the advert was really boring it was literally just a can of drink on the foreground and the word advert at the background it didn't seem great. |
I personally didn't like the advert because I'm not really keen on the music but I like what they're doing with the advert because the product is called 'punk' so the music goes well with it. |
I really didn't understand it it was just music playing behind a picture of a can of drink. |
I don't think it was very inspired and I wont purchase this product |
This advert is annoying and irritating. |
The music is off-putting and there is no information given about the product other than one image. |
It is also not very memorable and doesn't stand out. |
it is very boring with a simple image and a simple style of font. |
the background music is rather off putting and scary to the viewers. |
it is too simplistic and not attractive at all and the rock music is horrible to the ear. |
This was very loud and not that entertaining to watch at all. |
i would not like to see this advertised between my shows. |
it was just messy. |
The advert needs movement. |
Having a still can in front of still font was very confusing. |
The song is appropriate for the product but may be a bit too heavy for some listeners/watchers - perhaps a softer punk/metal song would be better. |
i felt that the background was too simple for that kind of music, the music was not was i was expecting at all it scared me a bit especially for a can of drink and i was expecting some kind of movement within the advert but it was disappointing to see none. |
This advert was very different to other adverts, it was quite dull and boring as it was the same image the whole way through and nothing really happened. |
However, it would make me remember the brand. |
understandable for an energy drink but much too intense for my liking, for an energy drink though it is understandable and suitable for the type of advert |
it was okay could be better. |
I thought that the music was very alarming and intriguing. |
but I believe people would eventually enagae with it |
I dont like this advert at a;l , nothing is happenin gon the photo and it doesnt even tell you what they are advertising. |
the sound is also bad |
I didn't like this advert because to begin with the music was to heavy to listen to it just made me want to turn it off. |
As well, I didn't like it because there was no. |
moving image of storyline to it so it was quite boring. |
I dont think the advert processed or played properly. |
Could be improved by a less dramatic approach of the product, gentler music in the background. |
I think this advert is very straight to the point and easy to understand as it shows in bold that is is an 'ADVERT' for Brewdog drinks. |
However, I feel like the text and the colours are very simple. |
Personally I dislike this genre of music so it wasn't really my 'cup of tea'. |
Did not really like it, did not understand what exactly it was conveying, music was very harsh and not very pleasing to the ear, overall, generally not good. |
It starts off really well, but 30s of the same thing made me lose interest straight away. |
Was also confused by what the point of the video was suppose to be. |
The music was a nice touch. |
Unsure what exactly the product is or what it does. |
They don't offer any explanation or name. |
The music is unsettling and offputting and doesn't make me want to buy the product. |
I assume this isn't the finished advert, or hope so! |
Definitely needs some words? |
I get the punk intentions but maybe tone it down a bit, people usually want to relax when they watch anything that this advert may play beforehand. |
I really liked the idea of this advert - sort of pointing out the obvious with the text that reads 'ADVERT'. |
However, I think for how basic the advert was, it was too long. |
I liked the music in the background though, it went well with what the product is. |
I think it has a certain demographic that they're aiming at plus it did catch my attention for a few seconds but nothing more. |
Over time it grew more taxing just to watch it even if there was rock music. |
my first thoughts of this commercial are that is was very basic and boring and there should of been some kind of story . |
for example its just a white screen with black writing, overall i didn't like this commercial |
Because obnoxious screaming with a bland background and product is going to make anyone consider buying this drink. |
If they're putting this little effort into their commercial, how much effort are they putting into the actual product? |
This advert did absolutely nothing to advertise the product. |
It was aggressive and instrusive and wholly unpleasant to the listener. |
For what it was, it was far too long. |
I did not enjoy this advert as there was not much going on. |
I understand that this was the point of the advert in order to drawl people into looking at the product. |
However this felt very boring. |
I believe that this would not keep the attention of anyone watching this as there was only heavy metal music and no voice over or action |
Advert has no story to it. |
The music is intense but gets the message across. |
The image is stationary which makes the advert quite boring. |
Really disliked the advert. |
Far too aggressive and loud and I did not understand what was trying to be sold over all the screaming and telling of the 'singer'. |
Nothing happened on the screen and got very boring for the viewer. |
It is very simple and it puts acroos its messgae that the drink is going to be very amazing and powerful. |
I am quite intrigued to know what the drink tastes like now. |
what was that, it was loud ad sounded horrible, if this came on my tv i would turn of imminently. |
it didnt give any information about the product. |
the music was really bad and loud. |
i dont know why anything like this would make it to the tv |
the idea is unique and actually makes more sense the further you watch till (00:20). |
problem is not many people will watch that far once they realize it just an immobile screen with intense rock music playing in the background. |
I think this advert is a bit to loud and abrupt for me - also the design while eye catching, it is a bit simplistic and basic in my opinion. |
Would not look into this brand. |
i have no idea what they are trying to sell here like at all, its loud and annoying like what am i buying here ? |
? |
It seems like it may be making a point about advertising in general but it doesn't come across as very coherent. |
I recognise the brand but the harsh contrast of the background with the screamo music is pretty off-putting. |
I think it might appeal to the 'hipster' market which I guess suits the whole small brewery thing that think they come from but I disliked this advert. |
Well. |
I don't really know where to start. |
It was royalty free metal music in the background with text reading "advert" and just an image of the product they were trying to promote. |
I'd hardly call it an advertisment. |
No movement of any items. |
Rubbish advert and did not get the message. |
The music was too loud and took away from the advert. |
Unimpressed |
That was terrible, I had no idea what it was about and the rock music hurt my ears, I now hate this brand thanks to this ad. |
absolutely awful what purpose did the advert have? |
its annoying and invasive the advert itself has no point and would just be highly irritating i would ring up to have this advert deleted |
It was a terrible advert. |
It says advert in big letters. |
And the drink is in the centre. |
Nothing was explained and it did not make sense. |
The music was too loud. |
THIS WORST ADVERT, I'VE SEEN ON HERE. |
NOTHING WAS HAPPENING AND AS I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THAT BRAND IT MADE IT EVEN WORSE BECAUSE THEY HAVE MADE A BAD NAME FOR THEMSELVES. |
It is a terrible advert, the music is absolutely horrendous. |
the picture never changes. |
it doesn't grab my attention it makes me want to turn the advert off |
The music was heavy metal and made the advert lively however the advert needs far more movement and video footage to make it more entertaining as the music isn't the only thing that can keep audiences occupied and people would simply just zone out of this type of advert. |
What is this advertisement promoting? |
No movement video, no aim of advertising. |
The background music is awful. |
No effort is given in this video. |
Not too sure what is the purpose of including the can in the video. |
The background music was far too loud for my liking. |
However i think that the advert would be very suited to a small niche who would definitely love the advert . |
For me it was a bit too simplistic but it was very obvious what the advert was for. |
the point of it being an advertisment for a drink is clear, but the advert itself is not eye catching and the music awful to listen to |
Had a strong premise, but the lack of variety as it went on put me off, not very engaging after the inital reaction. |
Would not pay the hugest amount of attention to. |
I didn't like this music and how nothing else happened other than watching a can of some drink in the middle. |
There wasn't enough action. |
The advert background track is quite relevant for the product commercial. |
The energy in the track assures the consumer that after taking the product their energy levels will most likely go upThis creates a tempting urge and desire to consume the product. |
The video was constant so i cant really say much, personally the choice of song is discouraging, propellant, troublesome and fearsome, i know this drink, the color is attractive. |
When you first see this advert you imaging something is going to happen. |
This is not the case with this. |
It seems flat and boring |
What was that ! |
! |
This advertisement really didn't put any thought into this. |
Just having your product on display doesn't give any information on this product, for all i know this could be an energy drink. |
If i was a customer and this was their advert I most probably won't buy their product. |
This advert was not really drawing you in. |
The background music made the advert a lot worse. |
People watching this advert in my opinion would not buy the product. |
It has excellent music as it's background and tells more about the brand itself. |
It encouraged people to buy more of the merch they probably sell and is something new you should try. |
It is kind of compelling and has good artistry to go with it. |
It is cool and is interesting to look at. |
It is somewhat favourable to those who like that sort of thing and is something that they maybe might chose in the future. |
That was terrible just a picture with a bit of heavy music that was cheap and made me hate the brand even more now then I did. |
I really didn't understand that advert. |
I would say the only thing I knew about was that it was about PUNKLPA. |
I think the lack of movement is quite disappointing. |
Absolutely nothing interesting on the screen to look at. |
The colours in the video do not accompany the audio in the slightest. |
The choice of music gave me a headache and would have me instantly muting my TV or PC if this ad came on. |
I love you BrewDog, but this advert isn't the way to go. |
1/10. |
No idea that it was for the brewdog advert since the music was rock music and it did not link with the advert. |
Also there was no animation. |
I love this type of music but I was a bit confused about how it was an advert. |
I love the beer in the video but the video tells me nothing about it |
Boring. |
But the talking was good and the picture was characteristic and also really good i honestly think this product is pretty good and i would buy it . |
I think the idea of going completely against what all other advertisements are doing by just having the word "Advert", the product and some music is very ingenious. |
The only issue that may arise is that heavy metal music like the type used has a very small audience compared to say pop music and people may start to associate the music they don't like to your product. |
the advert was boring and didn't have anything in it to make the viewer invested making the product boring due to the effort put into the advert. |
i like that drink and i see it around my neighborhood, i always buy everyday because it is refreshing and it makes my day really good. |
Terrible advert. |
Music is really bad, image does not promote product, nothing exciting, advert with a can in the middle is not appealing, no action, no information, overall 0 rating. |
I love the energy in the background song used in the commercial and it makes the product to be relevant to the young and energetic individuals for sure. |
There is just a Brewdog can standing there - that's it. |
It is not engaging and doesn't have anything wanting to entice you or to keep you watching about Brewdog. |
I am not familiar with the brand and now this advert has made me dislike it. |
Very boring, bland advert, made me feel like I was paint dry- music was horrible, it was 30 seconds of a still picture and some music. |
The advert really puts it into your face and It shows the real power behind energy drinks. |
Furthermore the rock music that was behind the advert gives us a powerful sensation and it made me feel like I was ready to do something energetic. |
It would be more better and higher rated if it was to involve more action in the video. |
and lastly the video would be more attractive if there was more movement in the video that was eye catching otherwise the video is good. |
Very confused? |
Just a blank screen of the product, is this an editing issue? |
No information given at all of the product, very, very strange? |
this advert is rubbish. |
I can understand that the bran dis trying to make a point but it just is a silly boring and ridiculous at the same time. |
the music is massively overbearing and towards the end of the ad, unpleasant to listen to. |
the image we are shown is bland, dull and patronising. |
so over all a beer company wants their product to come across as dull, band and overbearing. |
ok. |
I enjoy the music however there being no video except a screen that has no movement on it, makes the ad very unenjoyable to watch. |
too loud hurt my ears definitely not something id want to listen to on the tv unless i wanted some sort of epileptic fit in my seat. |
the style of music was rock which to be honest is not something i listen to. |
Very Loud and aggressive and very visually uninteresting, not sure this would really capture any audience or person. |
Even those who are a fan of the product. |
i don't like this ad its very basic and the song in the back round is awful but the can itself looks great and i probably would buy this product. |
I see a drink and hear loud music. |
I honestly make no connection with either of them and It's not like I would want to try the drink or even listen to that music. |
The advert would really just be discarded mentally. |
This advert isn't very intersing; due to the lack of visual movement. |
The music is too aggressive for my personal taste; although I could see others enjoying it. |
well what i think is that was some cool hardcore rock music well not all of the track was good to hear the guitar part was cool but not the part where the person starts screaming. |
I feel like this advert was quite poor and underwhelming, this is because they do not advertise the product at all. |
the music is also quite off putting and doesn't match with the product. |
it was a very boring advert, i did not understand the message behind the advert, the music is also very emo suggesting that this product is only for emo people. |
this is definitely good advertising as they're taking the Mickey out of typical energy drink adverts with the heavy metal music but as well as this they're also standing out to the audience with the large advert text, its a funny advert and It does make me curious about the product as a consumer |
I understand that Brewdog is trying to break the mould of usual adverts but it just comes across as cringe that they are trying to fit within their apparent punk rock"ethos" by not conforming. |
There are no visual stimulants, so the advert was old and boring within 5 seconds |
good, fast tempo and a good choice of colour. |
a very nice advert to focus on the target audience of this drink. |
The music is also very good. |
It was a terrible advert for the product. |
Just screaming whilst a picture of the product is shown. |
Very poor advertising on their behalf. |
Should rethink this Campaign |
Don't like this advert as it's very bland and tries to make up for it by adding in heavy death metal music which is off putting |
This is absolutely spiffing. |
It really gets to the point that it is an advert and that it is for the best drink ever, ' Brewdog ' It gives me a sense of togetherness |
horrible add who would want this to come on the tv or on youtube. |
it doesn't tell you anything. |
silly idea i like the drink but the advert should be a no go the beer isn't heavy metal. |
i like the music in the video its pretty entertaining but their are no movement or any action taking place so i don,t like that much. |
Boring. |
Nothing really happened. |
Just heavy metal being played in the background with a can of energy drink and ADVERT in the background. |
The people who made this need to do WAY better. |
the genre of music is not ideal and it only show an image, also i have a headache now and my ears hurt like hell. |
there was no video. |
and the music was very loud. |
I didn't like it. |
I really wish there was a video which showed the purpose of the drink |
Brew Dog is a cool brand, with good products. |
But this advert is too minimalist even for them, and whilst I get the point of the music and tone - it's still not what I would enjoy from an advert. |
the beat was very loud and I didn't like that. |
The persons voice hurt my ears. |
To make this better I would turn the volume down and make a better advert. |
I do not know if it bugged out but the commercial stayed the same, just a can in front of the word advert while the rock music was playing with some screams. |
I really disliked it |
Very aggressive and difficult to listen to with all the screaming. |
Would make me a lot less likely to buy the product and doesn't represent it very well |
I understand the general concept of associating brew dog with this sort of music, however, the concert becomes boring after about 5 seconds, unfortunately. |
Needs a directive change. |
This advert was very amusing however I felt it ran a little long. |
I appreciate the unique concept but it did not offer any information about the product and so I would struggle to look for it afterwards. |
the advert is the worst I've seen the music was horrible not too sure what they were even trying to get across for advertising in this advert |
I didn't like it, it lacked creativity and I saw more of the text than the actual product. |
There was no humour or lines to remember either. |
Literally, the worst advert it does provide any information about the company or the product as well as it is an unfamiliar brand it shows no information to lead to the incentive to buy the drink. |
this advert is terrible it has no storyline its just a still image with some really loud rock music that is just screaming and it is really bad, they need to a least make it something someone would like it to watch and not just a load of screaming. |
Honestly, I am really disappointed in this advert. |
Not a fan at all it was an assault on my sense, I could not concentrate on the product being advertised. |
The music was definitely off putting. |
The advert is not nice at all, why is there no motion any where. |
The sound is also just irritating to listen to. |
and considering the learnt it really sucks. |
Terrible ad. |
I hare rock music. |
It hurt my ears. |
This ad was torture and it contained the same boring imagery. |
Barely noticed anything about the product. |
At first the advert was very striking and I was very interested, however, after 10 seconds I was bored and confused at why the advert wasn't changing. |
It was a very strange style which caught my eye but ultimately I won't really remember it. |
I don't if the video glitched or not but if the ad is only the can and heavy metal music playing, this has to be on the worst ads I've ever seen. |
Again I can't really say truly what it was not knowing whether it glitched or not but I will give it a small score for the design and the music being played is decent. |
I didn't really understand what the purpose of it was. |
I wasn't sure if they didn't do anything on purpose and I wasn't a fan of the music used for the advert either. |
rah! |
i couldn't actually see the music and the visuals or the direction or anything for this one because your server didn't even allow me to process it but I could HEAR the music which was great as I love rock and heavy metal, so energised and rad dude |
I thought the advert was boring. |
It was not very engaging and it did not make me want to buy or try the advertised product. |
I think this looks as if it was made on a tiny budget? |
And as if it took 2 seconds on a powerpoint group. |
The music works good but maybe some sort of video could've been added? |
this advert is boring and bland it does not represent the product and I still don't know what the product is meant to be. |
I do not rate this advert. |
I did not like this advert. |
I thought it was lacking and if i'm being honest, there is not much to comment on due to this. |
I personally think the advert was very boring because it was just a can bottle with some hard core music in the background. |
On the other hand, I might buy this drink to try but I hate this advert. |
Unoriginal, unnecessary and unappealing, this advert was so abruptly bad that it couldn't even inspire humour. |
The can might as well have not been there as it wasn't shown in any positive light at all. |
What - they just had a picture with music - i couldnt remeber what the comp. |
was called or what it was (i though waas energy drink) if it wasnt on the left with a play icon) when they could have spent 30secs saying thy its good |
I think that it is definitely a weird take on advertising but it kind of works. |
Although I think it could be a bit less long. |
What a waste of an advert. |
Made me want to turn it off and not contine watching. |
No message - nothing new - nothing about the brand - why bother to be honest. |
I think it sounds very bad just to have that music screaming in your ears also it does not convey any message other than an image of a can. |
If their trying to be edgy it hasn't worked. |
That was just a stupid advertisement! |
I don't even know what I was meant to learn or gain from that. |
The music didn't help either. |
The advert seems pointless. |
Its just an image so doesn't make sense to add the music. |
It puts the user off and makes them want to turn it off. |
I really don't like this advert. |
The advert is quite simple and only features some background music and the product in the middle, the music is quite agressive and suggests power and authority. |
love the music however unsure of what product is being advertised as i was more interested in listening to the music. |
I would have liked to see the can of drink much larger so i can read what the product is having not seen this brand before. |
The approach of the advert was quite clever. |
. |
to be so literal. |
However, since this is not my style of music at all, I did not respond well to it. |
I also see a slight disconnect between the 'Punk' IPA and using heavy metal music. |
Perhaps what would have worked better was to play punk music. |
Another way in which the advert could be improved is to maybe add some subtle changes in the background; maybe even adding slight colour changes to the 'advert' text - just something to keep the viewer a bit more engaged. |
It was a little odd as it lacked animations or video in the background. |
This was unexpected but as it was different it grabbed my attention and made me wait, expecting to see a video. |
The large, bold text make it stand out and appear an edgy, sarcastic, fun brand. |
The heavy punk music was not to my liking but helped establish a link with the "punk ipa" product it was marketing. |
An unusual choice for an ad. |
I don't think it was very good. |
It didn't make me want to purchase the product and I'm not a hundred percent sure what the product even is. |
Wow. |
Okay, so I understand that it is supposed to be funny but it doesn't make much sense to me. |
It is called 'Punk IPA' so they're playing Heavy Metal music loudly? |
It's not called 'Metal IPA' is it? |
I'm not sure I like this, even though I very much enjoy Heavy Metal music and appreciate they were trying to do something different. |
AWESOME! |
Now this is advert, what a good concept and catches your attention straight away. |
Taking it back to the product and that is it. |
Very clever, very precise. |
Love it. |
Straight to the point. |
Terrible. |
I felt like it was a missing video file. |
This type of rock music is terrible for understanding the lyrics if the answer to what they're selling it's in the lyrics. |
I assume it's an energy drink but it's marketed terribly. |
Definitely caught the attention because music in a background was really loud, however could not understand what this about, about drink or an advert for the advert. |
A surprisingly innovative advert from grabbing the attention of the audience. |
By playing the loud rock metal music and blank screen it makes you stop to view the content. |
Does not give an impression of what the drink tastes like but I can imagine it is hard-hitting. |
was that the advert. |
All i heard i heavy metal. |
I hated it. |
i hated the music. |
It doesn't really tell me anything about the brand i just wanted it to end |
Its doesn't look like an advert at all. |
No storyline, just hard metal music and can of IPA. |
There is no connection between the two. |
Boring, lacking in variety and something very plain and not engaging. |
I thought the only thing i could see was the product and there wasn't much else happening. |
The music in the background was also very dull and boring to be honest. |
This advert was extremely annoying because the music was repetitive and had no melody. |
Further, there was nothing to look at as the can just staid still. |
doesn't tell you what it is, how it works etc, no more advertising other than just a can sitting in the screen. |
Music does catch attention but nothing to back that up |
i dont get this ad, it says nothing about the brand. |
i like this style of music but many won't and will turn this off. |
the meta doesn't work for the brand, comes across pretentious. |
i do not like the background music its not going to be everyones cup of tea. |
it seems dark and boring this will no to people with religious believes |
I would be far too annoyed by this advert and purposefully go out of my way to not purchase the product, and feel many others would react the same way. |
This advertising is very boring, just a picture with heavy metal music is very bland, wish to have more action or picture with this music. |
I really liked that the company doesn't think it needs this huge advertisement to advertise its product and just putting an image of the drink is good enough. |
I also liked the music and it really caught my attention. |
A very good ad! |
This is the worst advert I have ever seen. |
The music was painful to listen to and I didn't learn anything about the product. |
I am not sure what kind of beverage this is even advertising. |
Quite annoying, Loud and irrelevant to the product. |
There was not story line and it didn't seem to make any sense? |
I get the rock music but I feel it went one for far too long. |
Music was too loud, I am not a fan of heavy metal so doesnt appeal to me at all, I also dont drink larger of any kind so not at all relevant to me. |
It is a simple advert but it did not tell me a lot about the brand or what it stands for. |
It is simple but forgettable. |
I through that this advert was very loud and heavy musically! |
The images were eye catching and made me curious about what message the advertisers were trying to project across this advert. |
I also felt that I would be more likely to recommencement or buy this brand myself! |
I did not understand this advert, it did not put the product forward or give any information as to what it was aiming for. |
You have to focus on what is believed to be the product, the can, but the writing is too small and the awful music made you want to pause or exit the video. |
It was ok in that I understood what it was saying. |
However I do think that this advert could have been made far more appealing than what it was. |
I found the music in this advert very irritating. |
If this came on while I watching TV I would either mute it or change the channel as I thought it was too annoying. |
I didn't really get any information about the product, so the advert seems a bit pointless to me. |
It wasn't really an advert, more it was just loud metal music playing to a static background. |
I don't think it helped promote the product as nothing happened in the advert. |
I have no idea who thought this was a good idea but its the worst advert ever. |
Loud heavy metal music with the word advert and the product is not what people want to see or hear. |
I understand the joke of this advert, but I do think the premise is lazy. |
I didn't enjoy the music in the background. |
I am no more likely to buy this product now. |
No disearnable storyline for me from this advert. |
TI could not get a feel for anything this advert was going for due to no character interaction from the actors. |
hThe music was agressive and angry. |
eIt gave me feelings of agression. |
anger. |
dislike and harted. |
rI found this advert unsettling and would not watch it if it were released. |
e was no disearnable storyline for me from this advertl |
This Brewdog advert is an absolute mess. |
It was 30 seconds of a loud noise with no relevance to the product at all. |
Left me with a negative impression. |
On the plus side, the ad does capture the attention. |
However, I think most people would find the music unbearable to listen to, and change channels, mute it, or otherwise try to escape without even noticing the product being advertised. |
That was genuinely quite hideous. |
I don't understand the point at all. |
The music made my ears hurt and sent me into sensory meltdown, the advert told me nothing and I can't even see what brand the drink is! |
The advert was annoying and loud. |
There also wasn't much to the advert either. |
I felt irritated after watching it and would not feel motivated to purchase the item they are advertising. |
I like the advert, its quite simple and concise and easy to watch and engage with. |
It feels a bit long as there isn't much happening. |
The music is awful so is the advert. |
The image itself doesn't tell anything. |
It's horrendous. |
It made me feel really stressed and I wanted to turn it off immediately. |
its flat nothings happening in the commercial. |
I need to read the can too much effort to know whats selling. |
The heavy metal is different would be cool to mix with something mainstream to sell product to all |
The brand is using a Heavy Metal soundtrack to transmit power and strength. |
However, it seems to be over the top. |
The musical intro is too long and does not give you any specific detail about the BREWDOG drink. |
I don't know what the advertisement or video trying to communicate with this content. |
It has no content whatsoever, did not even try to explain what the video all about. |
Although, the music background is quite appropriate to the product. |
Better if there's a Rock artist drinking the beer. |
I think that this advertisement is dominantly aimed at the younger generation. |
I feel that the music to this is very aggressive sounding and overpowering. |
I really did not like this advert. |
it had rough music and the video was just ordinary and boring, and had no effect to engage the viewer. |
It had no scenery and it was just one picture throughout all the time. |
Was this meant to be an advert? |
It was just a picture of beer with screamo music being played. |
Bad music at that. |
It told me nothing about the brand. |
I honestly have no idea what to think of this- It's literally just a can of Brewdog, with some harsh heavy metal music playing in the background. |
It's not really advertising anything. |
Some moving images would improve it- maybe even a visual concept to try and communicate what the drink is, or who brewdog would appeal to. |
I have no idea what this product is, and this advertisement tells me nothing. |
This is probably hilarious to the people at brewdog or to those who know what the product is, but to an outsider, I just feel confused. |
wow the whole thing was a fail. |
The screaming of the man made this advert very uncomfortable and troubling to watch. |
The music was just crazy. |
No movement just a can in the middle of the screen. |
Not creative at all |
The music was terrible, the advert was annoying and it really negatively impacted my view on the product. |
I will always remember this brand as the one with the really annoying advert. |
I understand what they were trying to achieve with this advert but it's just annoying. |
The music doesn't help. |
I feel like it's probably aimed at teenagers given the feel of it. |
This advert was awful. |
I understand it was trying to be punky but it was too noisy and the visuals were very plain. |
It didn't try and entice me towards the brand at all. |
It was just a nuisance. |
Really not a fan. |
Tells nothing about the product and the music used will be a turn-off for more people than it appeals to. |
They are trying to lean to a demographic that they're not truly part of. |
It is basic but really good, I like its simplicity and the music is really good and it helps you to remember the ads and it is appealing |
I thought at the beginning this grab your attention with the music accompaniment, but with no changes throughout the commercial i found it was on for too long with nothing happening to keep my attention. |
i thought the advert was boring, it had no appeal apart from loud music. |
as a consumer i would not be like wow i want to buy this drink. |
it didnt make us want to taste or buy it in shops. |
maybe if there was people in the background or it was abit more informative then it will help. |
I understand the concept of this advert but i didn't like the music that went with it. |
I feel it would probably scare children or people who didn't enjoy this type of music, also feel like the simplicity of the visuals didn't match the audio. |
Not a big fan. |
Too loud, couldn't hear what the music actually was, although I appreciate the link between tough BrewDog and the style of music it was just too heavy |
this was a boring advert nothing happened! |
I think it showed the product but very little information about it and the benefits or features. |
I think this should have been more colourful. |
I liked the music, however it got a bit boring after a while. |
Nothing about what it tastes like. |
I assume the advert is suggesting that Brewdog IPA is "hardcore" or not for the faint hearted (as such music would suggest). |
This advert baffled me. |
What is it trying to tell me? |
The music, while I don't have a problem with it, doesn't add to the piece. |
The visuals are bland and dull. |
Nothing at all is happening. |
nothing impressive about this advert ,seems lazy and pointless ,not very clear what the product is ,hard to know what dose and the drink is to small to see . |
Energy Drink, with that metal music, believe I have to try it once to see how I feel, the ad encourages me to try Punk IPA. |
I love the colour of the can |
I didn't understand the concept of this advert. |
The backing track made no sense, as the advert was just a picture of the product on the screen. |
This advert was really terrible i did not like seeing this one at all. |
I would say that the music that was played in this commercial was horrible and loud. |
I wanted to see more than just Advert and the drink can. |
it definitly stands out from other adverts. |
The music is a bit much, too heavy and annoying for the period of time the advert is shown. |
It's very basic, but it does show the product and doesn't distract from it. |
Imagery here is obviously key and by singling out the can itself is a good statement. |
I think this kind of advert will be more suited to those already familiar with the quirky nature of brewdog. |
The music is such a harsh tone and background that it may put those not familiar on the back seat with it. |
I really do think the simplistic nature of the story and imagery bodes well for those that know and love this brand of beer but for those unfamiliar wont really get the joke or humour of it. |
I did not like this at all the backing track. |
it was so chaotic and uninviting it almost put me off getting the drink . |
there is also nothing happening which is quite a boring thing . |
the drinks colours also doesnt go well with the ad |
What on earth was that. |
Was it an advert? |
Just annoying music far too specific - so i can't drink it as i don't like the music. |
I only know what it is as i'm familiar with the brand. |
This doesn't work at all and made me angry |
This commercial was really bad. |
Nothing happened in it and it only displayed a can. |
In my honest opinion, it was terrible and i would not be likely to buy. |
The background music was rock which tried to add contentment but failed |
The music was just annoying. |
The advert didn't convey much about the the product being presented as in benefits to buying the product or anything about taste. |
This advert would not encourage me to buy the product. |
As much as I love meshuggah, its appears a gimmicky strategy. |
I'm intrgued to know if the band endorse this usage of their track for advertising purposes, as no where does it state their usage of the music, and unless you are specifically familiar with them, its highly unlikely anyone is going to find out it is meshuggah. |
its bold, but why be edgy to be cool? |
No nonsense advert. |
Cuts through. |
The music grabs attention and as you watch you slowly realise it is intentional. |
A bit of movement of the beer can would be a good idea as a clear indicator that the screen hasn't frozen. |
Either way I think it's great. |
im really confused, i really like Punk IPA and Meshuggah, but i dont really understand what the advert, it gets a 10/10 just for meshuggah though, |
I didn't actually like music, but the beverage can looks great. |
The background's probably a placeholder. |
Overall I think the music was really horrible, and there is nothing else to say about the advert. |
at first metal music have good energy but the negative thing is that we have just amazing music , no special thing in the picture using some effect could make it more interesting for example if after 3 second you have an effect that your title change white and your background change black and it happen several time make it more attractive other thing is that i wanna see what is in the can? |
what color is it? |
how much energy it have? |
is it have alcohol or no? |
there isnt any explain about the product and i like during watch this video i find out about answer my question |
this is not suppose to be a video advert. |
More like poster as its got no motion. |
Just a static picture that doesn't say much about the product. |
The ad is rather plain and I find it difficult to even know the message being conveyed to the end consumer. |
The accompanying music is also distracting. |
It's different which suits the brand but it becomes too loud and angry at the end which some viewers may find off-putting. |
Needs to be shorter. |
i didnt get the video concept at all was that the advert just heavy metal and a can of soft drink sitting , i think that is the worst commercial in history |
A rather interesting and unique advert here, It has a heavy metal track playing in the background and there's a can of beer on screen. |
A striking advert and one that certainly stands out compared to other beer adverts I have seen. |
Brewdog will gain some traction for this particular advert. |
I have no idea what was being advertised but I'm extremely intrigued because of the music. |
That is my type of music so I'm going to investigate what the product is |
Well this wins the award for the worst advert i have ever witnessed. |
Simply showing the product with the big advert word in bold in the background does nothing for the brand. |
Especially when you twin it with loud, nonsensical music which is trying to tie into the product but does nothing but reminding the viewer to press the mute button. |
Very intense but it seems to fit with a beer brand and is definitely impactful. |
Even though heavy metal isn't my thing I could see this resonating with the right demographic |
i dont like this advert at all because its very boring. |
And its not entertaining. |
I like the song i the background because its ear catching but it is too simple for an advert as it doest tell me anything about the item. |
The advert was quite plain and simple but it was quite loud. |
I expected a bit more in terms of visuals but there was nothing at all. |
Bold idea, however feels low effort. |
A more authentic punchy 5 second punk song would work better, as the music plays for a little too long. |
The minimalist imagery works well. |
Commercial is low quality. |
It says punk but the music style is not for this brand as it's hard metal. |
Music choice is awful . |
Advert should be made more dynamic with some effects. |
I think that this advert is quite boring. |
I would enjoy this more if there was more stuff going on in the advert. |
I do quite like the music. |
I admire the uniqueness of the advert and it is a clever idea that I think will have the effect of people remembering it. |
But unfortunately long-term it will give me a negative view of the brand. |
I see why they have the rocky music but it gives you a headache because it's too aggressive. |
It also tells me nothing about the product, fortunately I already know Brewdog and have had their drinks before and I know they are a controversial company but this marketing makes me want the drink less than before. |
It is really hard to see what the intent is here. |
. |
. |
It is just a text, saying "advert", with the product on it, no description, nothing to make you want it or to explain why it can be good for you, and there is a music in the background that does not seem appropriate at all. |
I love metal but here it does not serve the purpose of the ad, it's just screaming in your ears for no reasons, I almost closed the ad honestly. |
This was an absolutely abysmal advert not advertising the brand just merely placing a can in front of you. |
Also the music is horrible and doesn't go well at all with what's being advertised. |
No. |
Avery strange, and confusing, advertisement, considering it was just a blue and silver can that just displayed on the screen and a guy screaming trying to sing of which i did not understand a single word the guy was saying . |
Definitely a bad advertising style. |
The is no video movement and a provocative music choice. |
This ad needs to be changed and approached from a different perspective. |
In all honesty I thought it was dreadfull. |
I dislike the music, the lack of passion and absolute lack of captivating content. |
It is not a brand strong enough to pull such a bald move as this and I truly believe it will be prejudicial for the brand. |
I am saying funnily enough as I drink the exact same brew that is being advertised |
Straight off the bat, the music was too loud and overpowering for an advert, almost gave me a heart attack. |
It was far too simple, short and if there wasn't a picture of a drink there I would have not known what the advert was actually for. |
Not something I would remember any time soon! |
Very different, very alternative, very counter culture and against the mainstream, music wasnt to my taste but i understood what they are going for as i am familiar with the brand |
Terrible advert couldn't wait for it to be over to be honest i would not try this product out cause they haven't made any effort to bring me to a choice i would like to! |
interesting. |
simple and no nonsense. |
questionable music. |
but yeah knew the brand straighaway and having experience with said brand i totally get the design and style of this advert. |
Awful ads,it was just a horrible headache hardcore music with a static image of the product. |
it did not make a lot of sense this combination. |
Very simple yet very effective advert. |
Quite jarring and shocking. |
Grabs your attention and holds it from expecting to see something more. |
The music goes with the attitude of the product well. |
A very clever ad. |
Nothing happened, it is a still image of a can of soda and the word Advert, this is not a good advert, the only good thing is the music |
Choice of music was excellent because it was totally relevant to what was being advertised and gave me that sudden boost to start drinking! |
I find that the advert had served its purpose |
Absolutely nothing happened so I'm left feeling a little confused. |
However I thoroughly enjoyed the Meshugguh soundtrack. |
Aggressive music for aggressive beer so it kinda makes sense on that note. |
Firstly, I am unsure if it played the advert properly. |
For this reason it is difficult to review this advert. |
If the advert was supposed to be a single image with music and not a video then this is my honest review, which should be ignored if it was supposed to be a video: The product is clearly displayed, but otherwise a boring advert, with a heavy metal track which I found off-putting and had to turn the volume down. |
Nothing happened in the advert and the music was too repetitive. |
The heavy music could relate to the taste of the drink, but without any actual video, it is impossible to tell. |
I liked the first couple of seconds but I wanted a lot more. |
I got bored. |
I hated the music and although It gave me time to look at the drink i still don't really know what the drink is or what it tastes like. |
I hated the music and it is was far too loud. |
I feel like this would give the brand exposure but I don't think it paints the band in a particularly good light. |
I feel like this is similar to the ad campaign that oasis did but oasis pull it off better. |
Either i'm missing something or the video didn't play. |
I mean if it is just 30 seconds of a can of IPA then that's dreadful. |
I love how simple the visuals are and how striking the music is. |
They make the advert stand out straight away, and it's funny, different and challenging that there's no fast visual action. |
The brand comes across as individual and willing to challenge conventions, also as very confident. |
Um, I noticed they went with a more extreme metal track to help sell that :/ I thought I was going to be hearing a punk song like The Clash or something, I don't like that metal sound, it's very violent, those poor drums :( I have never heard of this product but I don't think this has enticed me in at all. |
Yes this simple advert sent out a strong message all in the can the punk rock music matched perfectly in harmony with the message being sent is perfect. |
Powerful and strong. |
It is too noisy for me and really boring. |
I know that music match to the brand but I don't like it. |
I would consider buying this brand, but after this advert, I don't want to try it, because I think that is not for me. |
The video is very boring and the music just awful. |
There is no theme or story line and no point. |
The image was of a drink and nothing else. |
This advert would be annoying but definitely wake people up during the break. |
It also didn't tell me anything about the product which however left me wondering - maybe a good strategy. |
I personally really liked the advert it is unique and fresh with a new concept, I like the image of the drink which was displayed as well. |
Who is this band! |
! |
! |
! |
! |
! |
! |
! |
I really need to know! |
! |
Loved it! |
Not sure it would make me buy the beer, but I am definitely going to be looking up the band! |
! |
! |
This still visual advert for Brewdog is accompanied by heavy, loud, screaming music, which will appeal to some, but not the majority. |
I guess the creators of this advertisement thought the sound alone would make the beer unforgettable, but only the sound is unforgettable. |
It was awful to say the least. |
. |
. |
Although the music did have a punchy sound and really would go with an energy drink campaign, it was way too aggressive and repetitive. |
There was no story and it was just flat out boring. |
Would not buy just from this advert! |
No description of what it tastes like, if its tasty or refreshing even ( it would've been very helpful). |
Overall it was just lack-luster. |
There was nothing to watch, i like the initial upbeat music, but that was it, once you looked nothing changed and it was downhill from there. |
It is so boring and the only thing that is noticeable is the rock song which only attracts a small amount of people, overall this advert is really boring just showing brewdog beer for 30 seconds with the word advert written boldly in the background, ad can be a bit more entertaining, I mean it looks like a billboard advert or poster not a 30 second advert with rock music |
I thought the ad was fairly simple as not much actually happened in it although I'm assuming this was done intentionally so I guess it worked well. |
I think the fact that it's labed Punk Ipa and has that style of music in the background was also a good decision too. |
The image and logo on the can seemed quite clear plus looked seamless. |
However, I seriously didn't' like the musical noise because its suppose to be for a can of soda? |
There was no match with the can or images to be found. |
The font on the advert was okay. |
But, this advert really annoyed me. |
Wss not sure if it had got stuck or not as nothing changed on the visual side of this ad. |
The heavy metal sounds were okay and I assume they are targeting that genre of person. |
Did not sell the product for me. |
This advert foe Brewdog was a bit loud and in your face, it sounded as if it had rapid gunfire, which was rather disturbing, I did not like this advert one bit. |
The heavy metal music is very aggressive and unpleasant. |
I do see a connection with the drink and the music. |
The drink packs a punch. |
It could work for the Download festival. |
It will not appeal to everyone. |
the can is interesting and looks Australian. |
I like the colour and font. |
Loud and clearly for the brand. |
Very repetitive though and slightly irritating after a period of time. |
Fits well with the brand though, and should invite interest from those in the group this is aimed at who are under 35. |
I really don't like this advert. |
when you hear the music and the voice, it's impossible to stay here and don't go away. |
I thing it's a very simple advert . |
what on earth was that all about. |
I get that the beer is called punk IPA, but to just play some heavy rock loud music with just a can sitting there is pretty low budget, and i would have switched off the advert right at the start |
Terrible advert! |
The music is horrendous and the visuals are very boring. |
It has no connection to beer at all. |
The white screen saying Advert is dull. |
I think the music was intense and harassing. |
There was no action in the advert so that was dull. |
I wanted the music to stop. |
Not really impressed with the advert. |
It shows the product the fact that its an advert as it says its one. |
The product stands out as its blue. |
The music is something to reconsider if you class it as music. |
This was amazing! |
It did not have to catch your attention with fancy gimmicks. |
It made me want to rush out and but this product just for the fact it was unique. |
It's an understated ad, but unless your a fan of heavy rock and are already somewhat invested in the product this advert doesn't do much to sell this beverage to a diverse audience. |
Do not understand this advert at all. |
Doesn't tell you what it is and the music is just a lot of noise. |
This wouldn't want me to buy the product. |
I like the immobility of this advert. |
The lettering is in block capitals with the can placed in the centre, leaving the viewer in no doubt that Brewdog is being advertised. |
The Punk music also stresses the concept of the design. |
I think that this is aimed at men which may put women off making a purchase. |
I'm undecided yet whether I will try this drink. |
Music is good. |
Typography is a little confusing. |
It seems to be pretty clear that this brand wants to be perceived as outrageous and trendy. |
I liked the add. |
Lenght is too much. |
Too loud and aggressive! |
Sounds like warning and danger. |
It tells me better not to try the drink. |
. |
. |
well it didn't impress me in any way. |
. |
. |
I would stay away from that drink. |
I can see the word Advert behind the jar. |
its very boring with yelling soundtrack which is a bit misleading. |
i would say to put more effort into a product ad because as for now, if l see this in TV it puts me off |
I thought the music was awful. |
It is obviously aimed at young men so it works on that level. |
I'm not sure what sort of drink it is advertising. |
From the music, it must be an energy drink. |
The as is just a can in front of the word advert it is not a good advert what so ever. |
I wouldn't buy this drink. |
This is a very strange ad. |
Just a heavy metal track with a still image of a can of drink, backed by the word 'Advert' in large type. |
This seems so incomplete, I played it several times to make sure that I was not missing anything! |
The blue, black and silver of the can is striking, and the image is strong, but other than that, I can not give any conclusion. |
Either this is a novel and unique way to make an advert or it falls flat. |
The advert wording is distracting from the product concept |
It dont show much of what most adverts show with people in it. |
It could be better comericalised i think showing people enjoying the drink. |
But it has a strange noise to it and a can of drink which i dont know at all. |
The advert for Brewdog punk IPA does not work, yes, its an advert but the can in the middle is quite small and difficult to see, which doesn't give much product placement. |
The music is not punk, its metal though a classic punk track may have helped. |
an advert that fails to inspire and even the music doesn't match the product. |
This " commercial " is very innovative because it is original, minimalist, and with a very attractive background audio that expresses the message of advertising very well. |
i did not like it. |
I don't even know what it is for. |
Has brew god brought a new product. |
You can't say. |
That on TV or radio will sot sound good |
Well I was waiting for the commercial to change but all we have in the centre of the advert is a can of punk ipa, when the advert first started the heavy metal instruments hit you like train through your window, the advert is simple, it's clear what the commercial is advertising with a solitary can of punk ipa |
This is a horrendous advert that I found annoying and offensive. |
The advert would not want to make me want to buy the beer, it would in fact it would make me want to avoid the beer. |
Being a big fan of thrash metal, with its theme music it had my instant attention. |
The huge black capital letters spelling ADVERT convey the anti-conventional ethos that the Brew Dog beer company are seeking to project. |
There is no movement in the ad but I think this only helps to have greater impact. |
The light blue can of Punk Ipa is featured. |
This will shock the old and excite the young. |
I'm interested in the product and this is something I would generally be interested in and likely to buy. |
However the music is terrible and becomes quite annoying as I want to learn about the product! |
This commercial is absolutely horrible. |
It has a rubbish concept, well it does not even have a concept. |
There is some random music going on that does not even make sense. |
You also have no idea what the product actually is. |
This is complete nonsense. |
while I am really impressed with the music of this advert there literally nothing else going on it just the product and a massive title that says advert very lazy if you ask me. |
A first i thought the advert was a little strange in just having a picture of the product and loud heavy metal music, but then i started to think, its a different concept and it does make the product and advert stand out from others. |
It could work, the jury is out for me. |
The sound of the musical presentation, left no lasting impression on me, as I found this genre unappealing and over noisy and therefore not to my taste. |
apart from the choice of music which is of course appropriate I did not quite get the message behind the advert. |
. |
. |
yes it is fun with punk music but there was nothing else and if that was the idea I consider it to be rather poor. |
. |
maybe effective market wise but not very creative |
I didn't like the song of the advert and I really don't understand how it is supposed to be advertising a drink! |
! |
! |
! |
I didn't like it. |
All this advert says to me is if you drink this can you will get a headache. |
I have never heard of this brand so it would be good to introduce it with a catchy advert to start with. |
Monotonous noise coming from the screen. |
There was no storyline to judge just a heavy drum beat and noise. |
There were no actors or images other than the punt ipa can. |
The idea of combine metal music with a drink has been a great choice. |
But it requires an extra message to capture the attention of the audience. |
The audience who is watching this video might have some difficult to realize the product. |
If it is a beer, or cider. |
I only saw a Brewdog can with "ADVERT" in the background and so I assume its the soundtrack I'm reviewing. |
Very aggressive and loud. |
There is a psychedelic aspect to this music I find slightly disturbing in the context of a selling drink. |
This will only appeal to a very narrow target audience/consumer. |
Product is very bland. |
Advert doesn't show anyone drinking this. |
And the rock music is really bad this isn't a good way to sell a product. |
This has to be one of the worst ads that I have ever come across maybe it is appealing to the hard rock fans but in general this one is poor, too loud, static, no narration and you can't make out what the ad is about. |
DOnt know if video played well or was the fact that the commercial was really weak, what was the point here? |
That we should all drink this listening Heavy Metal, I dont think so. |
lack of creativity and some laziness. |
The music matched the beer, heavy, fast, loud and not for the feint of heart. |
Very simple message accompanied by pure energy, definitely a beer for someone who wants something different. |
I am sorry, but for me this advert was a still image. |
The music was loud, hurts peoples ears, and the advert itself should just never be used. |
THE MUSIC INTERESTINGLY WAS THE MAIN FOCAL POINT IN THIS ADVERT AND THE IMAINARY OF THE PRODUCT WAS SECONDARY WHICH I FOUND INTERESTING. |
I DO LIKE THE BACKGROUND LETTERING AND HOW THE PRODUCT IS PRESENTED. |
This advert is for a product I'm not familiar with. |
I'm not really sure what to make of it. |
It's different with a sense of strength and energy. |
Absolutely Terrible Music accompanying a ridiculously plain advert just showing Brewdog Punk. |
Shouldn't it have punk music in it and not the godawful Death Metal rubbish playing oin the background. |
The advert is plain and doesn't really have any narrative in which makes it unattractive to the target audience within this age. |
i would also use more classical music. |
An assault on the ears and utterly without dynamics or interest. |
Granted the name of the product was clear and I guess you got a sense of the market segment they were going for (angry alt youth) but it really wasn't very appealing. |
It might have been redeemed if something else was going on but the static shot of the can just left me cold. |
The background stays the same, the voice sounds crackly. |
I do not know what on earth is going on, I guess the beer is being advertised. |
It is intriguing and ironic at the start, with the word advert and the can just there and the strong music to give it edge. |
Very bare bones and an effective message. |
However, after about 10 seconds it becomes boring. |
You could have slightly slowly zoomed into the can or something to retain the minimalism but still make it interesting like it isgoing somewhere, otherwise make it shorter. |
Might be more memorable if just 5 seconds long |
One of the best innovative, creative ideas for an ad I've seen in a long time. |
Initially I was confused, but that subsequently drew me in. |
Great Job! |
Hard, hitting and loud. |
It's aggressive out of the gate. |
The name and the soundtrack go at least. |
Question is, will some find it as difficult to stomach as the ad? |
That was HORRIBLE! |
It didn't say anything about the drink you only heard horrible heavy metal music. |
I think you should take out the heavy metal, and put in some talking about your product. |
Good song for the Brewdog beer but why no video? |
I think potentially the song is perfect for the advert but the visual is not. |
The beer can has good branding. |
The ad could use a little more work. |
It should match the content/music and the unique attributes matched to its target market. |
There needs a major overhaul of this whole ad. |
To be honest, advert was a little boring, I did think that it was going to improve when the music went up a notch, but unfortunately it didnt |
Music sounds like death/speed metal. |
very loud and energetic which does not go with the static image of the can of 'punk IPA'. |
Needs a more dynamic video to go with this music. |
Though the music fits the name of the beer in a way, I'd say this is they wrong type of music for the brand. |
Music more suited to a high energy drink than an IPA. |
i think its a rubbish advent and i wont be buying it. |
It way too loud and why do you need rock music for and ipa advent |
Striking can of the product but did not like the music as it as loud and repitive which would put me off buying the product. |
Brew Dog is a british brand and the colors of blue work in this IPA product. |
IPA is to be enjoyed and would buy this product based on its track record |
