The quality is great and the melody is memorable. I would conceivably add this to my platlist if I knew what it was. The words are unclear sometimes, particularly during the verses. It's fun to listen to though, for sure. The lyrics I am hearing are not very deep on an intellectual level or something I would consider clever or well developed, but I wouldn't hold that against the song considering the purpose of it which seems to be an expression of a really particular feeling. The uncomplicated lyrics make it relatable. Plus I don't know that very many people are looking for complex lyrics, especially teenagers and especially for casual listening.
