i didn't understand the story line. |
the fact the man was wearing a suit in a boat made no sense. |
the man holding the drink on a tray seemed boring and pointless. |
it looks very low budget and poorly made very confusing. |
very memorable due to weird concept |
I think it is a lovely setting and very easy on the eye however the story line is slightly unclear and it is difficult to understand. |
The advert seems quite professional and classy with the music creating a tenser atmosphere. |
However I think it is too long and does not fit with a beer. |
I thought that this was a lot of work for an advert about beer. |
Also, the advert starts off really creepy and it distracted me from the actual product. |
the lake newbrew is a good product to use and will well known worldwide. |
i would recommend this product to other people to use. |
the more this product is used the more well known it will become |
the atmosphere of the scene gives it a cool vibe specially with the drinks i think this would be a good way to get people to buy the drink. |
setting the scene was really effective as you could hear the sound effects of the lake like you were really there! |
The narrator's voice was crisp and fitted the video. |
At the end, when there was a beer left, it made me wonder who it was for. |
Very concise and straight to the point. |
Good visuals and it's straight to the point. |
Also a very good, obvious narration and clear actors management. |
I really liked the graphics and the background and setting of this video. |
It had a great atmosphere but maybe there could have been more of a story line. |
Definitely cool though. |
use of well known actor makes the brand seem more influential. |
theme of mystery with no storyline throughout which might put viewers off the advert/bore them. |
product being advertised only made clear at end and seems like it was shoehorned in. |
I enjoyed this advert. |
It was cinematic and dramatic(? |
), very well filmed. |
It almost felt like a movie. |
It enticed me and it was overall a very good advert. |
setting of the advert created a nice serene atmosphere. |
the point of the advert was very clear as well as the product it was promoting. |
Quite a long story line, do not really understand the meaning. |
The actor was good, he has a soothing voice and wasnt bad to look at. |
Not sure how the scenery related to beer. |
Cinematography is precisely and accurately done to the point of perfection. |
The storyline of the commercial is good and well scripted. |
The actor did his job pretty well. |
I think the advert would gain views attention as it looks interesting and makes you want to find out what the advert is about. |
I think the advert is also visually interesting. |
the story line is bad it starts in the middle of nowhere there is bit of humor to it as they combine two contrasting worlds, the city and the forest which is an interesting touch |
I liked the transition from darkness to beer. |
This is really different from a lot of other beer commercials and it is very eye-catching. |
I think due to it being a big brand an advert like this works for them and will help their rebranding of the beer. |
I like beer so this advert is suitable for me. |
It made the drink look yummy and I would buy this drink if I had the choice. |
I think the advert is very stylish. |
Mads Mikkelsen is a big name on tv at the moment so his involvement is very effective. |
I am more likely to buy carlsberg after seeing this. |
Too Long, could be more apealing if it was shorter. |
Like the idea behind it and the way they show the product. |
in the end is funny |
I think this advert is quite relaxing and aimed at people who drink beer. |
This ad would make people come together to enjoy the product. |
the style is unique, i like the gothic elements. |
however the storyline allover just confused me, i wouldn't have known it was a beer advert from just watching and not the audio. |
I like to see Mads Mikkelson on screen. |
I think he reflects well the product. |
The butler reminds me that this is a high quality product. |
It is quite aspirational but also comedic . |
I'm rather unsure as to how the video itself even links to what is being advertised as it doesn't really make sense, maybe the country itself relates to the beer, the male figure seems to know an awful lot about origin. |
In my opinion it would't exactly encourage me to by the product. |
The actor is very good and seems to play his role very well. |
The scenery and filming were beautiful - it made me want to keep my eyes on the screen. |
However, the advert seemed to go on, longwinded for a better word. |
I like how much of a professionally made advert it is. |
It has good music for the type of product they are trying to get across and stunning graphics. |
I would recommend the product to friends but would not drink myself as I do not drink anything other than spirits. |
This is a great advert! |
Calls right out to the people who love beer, the ad isn't to long, and the color scheme is amazing. |
The way the beer stands out against everything else is incredible. |
I liked the spooky opening but when he started talking, I found it got boring very quickly. |
It didn't make me want to buy the product. |
The environment seemed a bit random, I'm not sure what the relation was to the beer and the lake theme? |
It just didn't make sense. |
Why was the man on the dock waiting? |
You would usually associate beer with the pub, enjoyment, fun but this seemed a bit dull. |
I thought this advert had such a beautiful setting. |
The shot of the lake and boat looked amazing. |
It was a very good advert and I paid a lot of attention to every moment. |
A very beautiful cinematic location - representing a suporocity and fashion with the brand. |
A handsome and attractive actor further sells the product, however I felt his voice and the dialogue caused me to lose attention out of boredom and I found it difficult to understand what he was actually saying. |
Overall a very well produced commercial. |
The video is very aesthetically pleasing and well made. |
The setting is stunning. |
The main weakness is how it does not make entirely clear what it is selling. |
The beer should perhaps be the focal point of the commercial but overall it is peaceful and beautiful and interesting to watch. |
fun and different to the other alcohol advertising. |
i do not drinking but appreciate the message and not making seem like drinking this turns you like cool |
It's a fairly, unique beer advertisement from my perspective because of it's creepy, lonely, dark aura. |
The lead actor starts off rowing a boat in isolated lake/area with 'sad' trees all around him. |
It seems like trailer for for horror, thriller, mystery movie at the beginning, which grabs your attention because it seems like movie trailer. |
I think that is kinda of good because no one likes to 'knowingly' watch adverts. |
It lures you in, the slowly reveals that's a beer advert. |
It's funny, entertaining, and masculine. |
It would appeal to all variety of men and keep the attention of women/kids for a while. |
It is very mysterious, almost like a fairy tale story and it kind of compels the watcher to endorse in this product as the whimsy and magic of the clip itself is rather intriguing. |
The backround music also adds a depth of excitement and wonder to the commercial. |
The advert has a good storyline where you can see the key characters and what is happening. |
The music is good and enticing and goes well with the plot. |
You can see clearly how the product being advertised fits into the advert. |
The advert contained too much unnecessary information. |
Possibly longer than needed. |
The colour scheme highlights the beer very well, almost like a light at the end of the tunnel. |
Plays on stereotype that beer is for men may limit market especially as gender stereotypes are trying to be broke in today's society. |
Audience is very directed towards white middle class man - tries to envision customers as the character. |
Dramaticism draws in the audience as leaves an element of mystery of what the advert is selling. |
I didn't really like the advert. |
It was quite boring I don't really like alcohol adverts anyway and definitely didn't like this one. |
I found it not interesting. |
I think this commercial was really good, it's a sophisticated way to advertise Carlsberg. |
I think it's showing how this new line of larger that they are trying to sell is more 'upper class' than the regular one they have. |
It is a quiet advertisement, you barely notice it begin. |
It gets across its message, however because it starts so peacefully it doesn't draw in a persons attention. |
I enjoyed the advert it was very gripping, and told a story. |
I wouldn't skip it on youtube as it is intriguing and different. |
It doesn't show the product immediately which is nice. |
it effectively shows what the product is and has a commentator on why they believe the product is so good, making viewers want to buy the product. |
This advert is unique from other adverts; it is also enjoyable to watch and clear what the product is from early on. |
Perhaps more information could be given about the product, but overall, I like the concept. |
The setting of the advert is very intriguing but confusing as it seems like the advert for a horror movie rather than a type of brewed beer. |
It takes too long to get to the point and there is not much going on. |
It is rather boring and there is not much enthusiasm or expression |
I enjoyed this, it was not too flashy nor was it boring to watch. |
I enjoyed the simplicity and the lack of noise in the background. |
for example, i the whole advert the gentleman was speaking and there was not much focus on the music in the background. |
this draws the attention for the listener to pay attention to what the person is actually trying to portray. |
the drink is well known and quite famous, therefore it does not need that much promotion. |
this simplicity is differentiates this advert from other alcohol related ones. |
I loved this. |
I enjoyed the storytelling aspect and the background music. |
Both actors were likeable and engaging (particularly the lead actor) . |
It was very cool and fresh. |
the beginning was a bit creepy almost like your about to watch something that will frighten you, the outfits for both gentlemen was very classy i liked that, i liked the presentation of the beer it was different but creative, the mans voice was a little too soothing for a beer commercial and the ending confused me but overall it was fine |
I thought this advert was really good as it made me think and it is quite memorable. |
I liked the images used and it was clear which brand this was advertising for. |
Good advert that keeps you on your feet and interested not clear of what it is advertising at first but becomes very clear towards the end. |
I liked this advert for many reasons. |
firstly, I liked that there was a storyline to it as it made the advert more interesting to watch. |
Following from this I liked that the main character was narrating during the advert as it lets u snow whats going on and helps wit the story behind the product. |
Secondly, I liked the music that accompanied the advert as it was very peaceful, therefore it made you feel calm and interested in the advert. |
Thirdly, I like the suspense that the advert brings, for example I like that at the beginning of the advert yo don't know what the product could be so you carry on watching, but then at the end of the advert it reveals the beer. |
Therefore, I like the suspense. |
Very intriguing, liked the brightness towards the end and the whole angle of the product. |
Dark to light and funny while describing the product at the end. |
I think this advert is gripping due to the music and the location that the advert is set. |
I don't really understand the reasoning of the man in the boat and this could be scary to some children viewing. |
Very interesting, cinematography was amazing, visuals were beautiful, clear monologue, scene was very good to look at, and the general message and storyline of the video is quite good. |
I really liked this advert. |
It got the point of the brand across straight away and was no confusion on what they were trying to promote. |
The use of the scenery was great. |
It was simple but super effective. |
Highlights Carlsburg in a positive light, you know what they are trying to sell to you. |
The use of a famous actor makes it seem more reliable and trustworthy. |
The music is very calming, making it seem like a relaxing drink to have. |
Very funny ending, however it does feel like an attack towards the UK which although I understand a lot of people won't like that semantic. |
However I guess it is good to weed out the racists from being your consumers! |
I liked this advert. |
I liked the way the actor was talking right in to the camera, asif he was talking to the viewers. |
This advert made carlsberg look like a premium drink - the way the actors were dressed, the music in the background and how the drink was served. |
It was good however I did think at first that it was promoting something else like a tv show or something. |
However the themes within this commercial is very confusing as its about beer yet we see a guy on a boat then getting off the boat. |
That really confused me. |
amazing advert i think the creativity is very good and makes you want to have a beer , the voices of the actors are very calming and makes you want to listen even more. |
Started off unsure what the advert was going to be for, but I liked how it ended. |
And the little joke at the end was the best part. |
personally i think this commercial didnt really relate to the product that was being sold . |
secondly i didnt understand the story line of this commercial |
The cinematography of this commercial was phenomenal. |
I loved the vibes I was getting from the beautiful lake. |
The actor had a great voice to suit the mood of the commercial. |
Absolutely brilliant. |
This video is appealing with the use of the popular actor and it is thematically and narratively engaging and humourous, holding viewers attention throughout it. |
The background for this was brilliant and the story that the ad was tying to tell works. |
I believe this would have been better if it wasn't a commercial for beer |
Full of suspense with the rowing on the lake and the bubbles from the lake a the end. |
The music made it full of suspense too. |
Overall a good advert |
Good, interesting advert. |
Good quality of advert however I did not understand why it was set in a lake or the general aim of the setting and how it linked to the beverage being advertised. |
I love mads mads mikkelson so the advert already has my love. |
I love him in james bond and when he plays kaecilius. |
I couldn't take my eyes off of it. |
The ad was also good aswell but i don't drink beer. |
i like the mysterious element to this advert. |
this element would make me wonder what this product was and would make me want to try the product at least once. |
i would say though the advert needs to explain more about the product though |
I really like the shortness of this advert and how it is quick and to the point. |
I also like the clever scenery and use of actors - I would look more into this brand. |
i really like the hint of something further and more sinister happening to do with the butler at the end, maybe an idea for a future ad. |
its kinda odd for a beer ad but i can see the vibe they were trying to give off creepy yet content! |
not bad but meh |
It was well done and I recognise the actor from Hannibal and various other media. |
The premise of the ad was a bit confusing, I didn't see the relevance between the concept and the product being marketed but I liked the aesthetic anyway. |
The pronunciation could have been clearer, some parts of the ad I couldn't understand what was being said. |
I don't see how a man rowing a boat is anything to do with beer, it is only when he started talking about beer that we knew it was a beer advertisment. |
I am unsure what the storyline has to do with the brand. |
The advert makes you think of something more serious. |
Should be a bit more jolly rather than serious. |
All of the aspects of the advert makes you feel tense rather than excited about the product being advertised |
im not sure how the ad relates to the product it is trying to display but that seems to be the style for this brand. |
Story line is good. |
Music does not distract from the talking or message. |
Overall good story line. |
Actor is well recognisable giving it an edge. |
It was a bit boring, like first of all what do woods have to do with beer and secondly they're not beautiful at all, I don't get it. |
definitely a different approach to advertising beer, i don't get what a lake and a boat has to do with beer? |
not exactly pulled in with the advertisement in my opinion it was rather boring wouldn't watch again. |
This advert way perfect. |
Played by Mads Mikkelson - A Danish actor who is known in the UK to advertise Danish beer. |
The setting makes sense as it gives those European landscape vibes. |
I found this commercial quite boring, as it felt like the actor was just doing the same thing, I am not very familiar with this brand but if there was a "skip ad" button I would have clicked it. |
The commercial is really compelling and creates a burning desire in the viewer to want to have a taste of the pilsner product and the setting is really impressive. |
i love this act, it is so exceptional, extraordinaire and unique. |
the ,drink looks attractive, interesting and precious to me already. |
i really love the scene. |
I think the idea is really good. |
The monotones of the background work really well with the product colour and appeal. |
Well worth rowing across the lake |
This was very intriguing the way the clip started it gave me a sense of relaxation which enticed me to watch the rest of the advert. |
This also gave the information required to make me think about buying there product. |
Really good commercial and lovely scenery. |
This advert is carefully made with really god video footage. |
It really promotes the new product within the brand. |
very god quality would recommend as looks very nice well filmed and lovely area to film in would drink it. |
also dressed nicve setting a nice picturew saying that the beer is nice and delicious. |
It has very good graphics and layout from the beginning to the end of the video. |
It id alluring to the audience and it shows that has good reputation to behold. |
Wow, that was good, it had a real mix of darkness and the info and then at the end humour. |
The actor is well known too |
Great production value, great choice of actor (Mads Mikkelsen), the setting is very refreshing, a very smart way of associating the setting with the product and with a fitting soundtrack to boot. |
Wanted a cold one after this, great ad. |
8/10. |
Great acting. |
The video would definitely appeal to the audience which I would imagine were middle aged men. |
Slogan is very good also I give the video a B. |
I thought this advert was very mysterious and artistically shot but I'm not sure what was really happening towards the end. |
The man's voice is a little hard to understand and I'm really not sure why the water bubbled. |
the atmosphere was great with some amazing camera shots which as seen as professional, I don't understand why they picked this atmosphere for a beer advert. |
Having a famous actor with a well recognizable brand is a very good idea as it shows the brands accomplishment. |
I really liked this advert due to the power involved |
Clear message, Sells the product very well, fantastic choice of actor to promote, interesting scenery, well constructed, would recommend this product to a friend after viewing this commercial. |
Personally, I love the video quality of the commercial and I find it really interesting in nature. |
I think the commercial will create a huge market for the product to its consumers. |
The video gets across the key concepts of Carlberg's principals in an unusual but interesting way. |
It entices the viewer and is simplistic, not flashy, and encourages the viewer to buy the drink. |
A very, very presentable way to demonstrate the product and make it appealing to many. |
The atmosphere and setting is impressive and looks incredible adding to the convincing nature of the advert. |
the video strted well and then flattened a little to gray. |
the whole video was too quite. |
i am not prefer the alcohol advertisement. |
enviroment was good for the product, |
I think it a good advert but I wouldn't say for a beer because you want it to look good for the viewer and pleasing but the beer looked very refreshing in the glass. |
Pretty typical and bland. |
Did nothing to entertain me, and it did nothing to attract me to the product. |
This will just blend into all the other ads. |
I thought that the visual elements of the ad where stunning, the smoke and dark forest gave a very eery vibe to the ad, coupled with the music it crated a very atmospheric ad. |
however Im not sure how this setting and plot links to the beer being sold as this link was not made clear in the ad. |
the only thing I can think of is that the bright cooler of the beer stands out against the dull background to make it stand out. |
other then that the ad does not make that link. |
A very nicely executed performance by a very well known actor the advert was about beer and made me feel empowered the music was a mystery sort of track. |
Very long and although the story builds and becomes more intriguing, it could perhaps end with a more exciting close that might satisfy the closure of the story. |
well being a minor i don't know much about brewing and stuff but probably the actor is one from the action movies and seeing him in the commercial probably increased my chances of buying. |
The advert is good and the way how it advertises the product. |
The film and the music go well to advertise the beer as it puts you in a relaxed mood. |
I think that the commercial was sort of inspiring. |
However I disliked that it was undramatic and boring. |
I think that some might get bored watching the commercial. |
it is a very interesting advert that grabs my attention, it makes me want to go out and try this brand of beer, the opening scene to the advert is very eye catching |
a fun concept with the waiter in the middle of the lake, comedic in many respects and definitely different from other adverts, however I wouldn't say the advert makes me want to drink Carlsberg but I would definitely say it caught my eye more than other adverts have |
It is always a pleasure to see Mads Mikkelsen on screen, even if it only comes in form of a minute long Carlsberg advert but he plays it superbly. |
I enjoyed the self-aware digs in which Carlsberg gave itself regarding the old recipe not being a great beer |
not going to lie, but this advert was a bit boring to watch as it is not so different to ones that i see on tv already |
I liked the look of this advert. |
mentioned the brand a few times so i would remember it. |
Has recognizable face in the advert as well to add some familiarity |
the man is a bad boy in doctor strange and his eyes go all crispy and thin like the Asian boy. |
makes me feel like a bad boy drinking alcohol. |
I like the acting. |
It was scenic. |
A bit too much talking. |
Would've liked him to do a bit more than just rowing. |
maybe a different setting |
very serious but has some humor to it. |
well filmed worth every penny they spent on it i am likely to try the beer now after seeing this ad. |
seems like they are just trying to re-brand their beer to make more money also the advert is unique but is pretty dull and didn't appeal to me |
Very very good advert, love Mads Mikelson and the general tone of the advert. |
Music fits well and generally just enjoyable to watch for the ~30 seconds. |
I thought this advert was very thoughtful and put time in to it. |
It made me feel like I could go out and have a great beer with my mates. |
I was suprised to see a know actor who played in doctor who which made me interested more into what he is advertising and the plotline was not too hard to follow. |
The music was a good fit for a backround noise. |
I like it. |
Sophisticated, smooth, smart. |
Brand ambassador is a strong choice. |
Definitely makes me want to buy the product. |
Feels humble and very appealing to me as a customer. |
A quite interesting and compelling advertisement for introducing a new type of beer, setting a mysterious scene in an unknown place with only one person on screen talking to the audience, at the end revealing the product and finishing off the story the narrator was telling with a small cliffhanger at the end to ponder at. |
I thought that the choice of setting and actor were exquisite, Mads Mikkelsen creates an atmosphere of an ominous nature. |
I feel that the plot of the advert is unique and interesting and it is appealing to me. |
The soundtrack also compliments the narrative well. |
the scenery was great yet didn't have much purpose and link to the beer the music was to loud couldn't understand the character that well, and a good choice of character making it very serious advert |
Loved it Mads is great as always. |
It was shot similar to the NBC show Hannibal so it looked great. |
And is advertised the beer perfectally |
Love Carlsberg. |
Pathetic Fallacy well used throughout to set the scene. |
Unexpectedly advertising a beer, given how the advert started. |
Dramatic and grabs the attention of viewers from the off |
Carlsberg has done a really good job in conveying the essence of the drink but it doesn't fully go into what makes so and so special compared to British drink. |
This advert tells me about there that it's about a Danish brewed beverage and It is well played out, I think they need to focus more on the drink than the storyline leading up to it as it doesn't really relate to well it the whole drink itself. |
It was very different and quirky, it immediately got my attention and I was attached to the scream from the start. |
It was more of a movie trailer than an advert but I like that its something I will remember and talk to my friends about. |
Firstly the video has a very good photography. |
Such an advert cant do away with the dram. |
The drama is also on point. |
Overall the band in catchy. |
I loved the actor, he is one of my favourites. |
The music in the ad helped create atmosphere and the rowing scene made me recall many spooky films. |
It's a memorable ad. |
I didn't like how excessive the narration was throughout the Carlsberg advert and I think it should be changed so it is more quick to the point. |
Although the slight comedy at the end was rather pleasing! |
I really like this commercial because it is new and catches your attention. |
The dark and moody images go very well together and it looks very professional and clean. |
Overall this advert may encourage me to buy the product because it certainly grabs my attention and makes me want the product. |
A somewhat serious but fun video from Carlsberg. |
The different scenes looked really good and the audio was good as well. |
I didn't understand the last bit with the bubbles in the lake though. |
I love beer, and it was delivered by such charismatic and identifiably European-originated actors which added to the cultural and spirited influenced of why I enjoy beer so much, topped off with excellent lighting, direction, camera angles, and special effects which create positive momentum and atmosphere |
good but a bit too much at the start. |
didnt fully know what the product was, or get straight in to it. |
so it was ok |
I rate this advert a solid seven out of ten because the scenery goes well with the product they are trying to sell. |
The background / scene is gloomy but at the same time it looks tranquil. |
Overall, I like how the advert focuses loads of time on the product. |
I liked the precision depicted in the advert. |
I thought it was a good metaphor for the precision that goes into the product. |
I liked the use the actor. |
Don't like it at all, think it's not clear and promotes strange concepts throughout. |
Think it could've promoted a new brew in a different perspective personally. |
It is an amazing advert for a beer company that makes great tasting beer and I respect this product and in future will want to buy more of this product. |
I think that this commercial has been thought out extremely, I really enjoy the slow buildup and the growing sense of awe/wonder created as it progresses. |
On the other hand, I feel the reveal is relatively underwhelming compared to the rest of the commercial. |
Furthermore, the actors help immerse you in the atmosphere, which I really enjoyed unlike some other commercials - it's unique. |
Actors seem pretty professional although I didn't really understand the motives or ethos of this advertisement properly, I'm not sure if its my browser or the video but I couldn't hear anything in terms of vocabulary, speech music. |
I'm sure the ambience of the advertisement was in good taste. |
It's Look Like A Good Brand of Beer. |
I Also See This Brand On Multiple Channel So Personally Like This Brand. |
It's Looking Awesome And Great. |
Consistent spy-like theme brought intrigue and mystery but the link between the canoe, beer and spy was tenuous at best and could have been improved. |
The serenity of the soundtrack was alluring and added to the mystery and appeal of the surroundings. |
It went on for quite a long time and i found it very boring and the attempted comedy was not funny at all (imo), however it does work in telling the potential customer that they are a big company and one of the best etc. |
. |
. |
The commercial was good. |
I thought it was original, and the cliff hanger at the end (what was in the water) was a good way to end it off. |
Okay very long but gets across message of the ad to get the product. |
Bit on boat bit long intro, but okay other than that. |
Could be bit shorter though so okay. |
I think it was an interesting advert but I couldn't hear what the guy was saying and I don't get the correlation between the lake and the bear. |
I think it illustrates the point clearly that its about beer, it really sells you on the product with just the right amount of info and humour |
Really liked the advert. |
Could tell exactly what the product was that it was being advertised. |
Which means that I was invested to the advert. |
Think the waiter drinking the last beer would have been better. |
I found the ad rather boring, I was not interested or focused because it just didn't appear appealing at all. |
The ad does not really make for a beer ad as the man is in a boat and then served beer |
The advert is a little boring. |
It doesn't grip you while watching would could cause users to not watch it. |
The keyword of carlsberg takes too long to know what the advert is about. |
I enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the advertisement, the setting and tone worked very well. |
The acting from the man in the boat was very well done. |
Good advert it started off on a beautiful lake then when to drinking the product what is a beer what will make people interested in that brand of beer and it was well made and eye catching. |
I liked the mysterious tone of the advert, it really captivated my attention as i questioned what the advert was for. |
I'm not a fan of beer myself, therefore the product did not appeal to me much. |
love that the man is the boat is telling us a story. |
Love the calming effect the water adds to the story makes you keep watching so you can see the final product. |
Love at the end that the man thinks someone h=is in the water m |
Good direction and video visuals. |
I must say the scenes and video quality is amazing. |
The actor in the main role should have a more expressive face to deliver the message clearly. |
Background music selection is good but it was overpowering the speech delivery of the actor. |
The message was communicated well to highlight the classic relevance of luxury and the beer brand. |
However, the ending is ambiguous. |
A lake monster wanted to have a beer or butler ? |
The advert was very dull and unmemorable. |
It lacked a focus on the product it was trying to market, I understand it was a beer but can't remember any further detail. |
It looks like a traditional beer for older people and the fact two gentleman appeared, one as a butler in a suit, makes it suggest it is a premium brand a middle class man would enjoy rather than young people at a party. |
It looks like a serious brand which does the job rather than something pioneering or enjoyable. |
Carlsberg is a brand that everyone is very familiar with, and familiar with their slogan. |
I think this video is very well produced but the concept I do not like at all. |
First of all I do not think that it is appropriate to advertise alcohol and also the content is a little bit morbid. |
do not really understand what the advert has to do with the actual beer or product? |
How are they selling it? |
Really confusing if i am honest. |
The production value is very high quality. |
Acting is flawless and the actor fits with the brand in consumers' minds. |
If it is marketed in other countries, then they should put some small subtitles. |
Carlsberg is one of a good bear companies, However advertise was quite confusing and I am not. |
sure if there is a need to advertise alcohol at all, I think that there should be some warning at the end that don't bring by the water or you will drown :) |
I liked the opening scene, with the birds and the scenery. |
I don't think the character talking about the beer is that memorable. |
Adverts need to stand out so people remember them, remember their message, but this one didn't. |
An eerie and stylish advert that keeps you hooked just out of pure curiosity. |
The drink looks refreshing and desirable in the outdoors although whatever is lurking in the lake is mysterious. |
I liked it. |
The music and surroundings were quite calming. |
He was a good cast for the main man. |
He seemed trustworthy and honest. |
I liked his voice. |
I love it! |
Great "storyline" and I love the actor. |
He is very charm looking. |
The fact that this is the "beer" adv, was quite surprising, first at all, I did expect to it to be a new tv serial ads. |
Unusual, calming music and something very different compared to other adverts we have seen. |
I personally liked the two characters and the engagement and the product that was advertised was really obvious and clear. |
This advert was extremely intriguing with the moody colours of the water and the mist. |
It was great that this was juxtaposed with the humour at the end with the beer. |
not a great fan of Carlsberg however the advert gives of a feeling of refreshment after a busy day. |
think it has a great concept |
this ad fits in with the brand's aesthetic and this is a smart brand partnership. |
the ad does feel a little long winded but is memorable. |
This advert was put together so well that I wouldn't mind seeing it again. |
The inclusion of a well known actor helps give it a truly entertaining feel. |
this was beautiful advertising, very helpful and rememberable, it's very fresh and unique, it gives me a deep impression on this brand, I like the actor as well. |
Bit of a boring advert, the colours were very grey and the tones were muted and monotone. |
I liked the beginning, it was intriguing until he got off the boat. |
Not great, not terrible? |
Just mediocre. |
The advert is short but straight to the point. |
It projects a good quality brand and explains a little about what the brand stands for. |
It is memorable and unique. |
This advert left me confused. |
I did not understand the concept nor what the actor was saying. |
His accent was too thick and he did not articulate enough. |
I am aware of the brand but do not know what the brand message was in this particular advert. |
I liked this advert. |
One that its a popular brand but giving it a little back story and using a famous face makes it somewhat more appealing. |
I feel like it started off quite well with nice music, good scenery, but then seemed to descend into an 'anti-english' mentality and just felt like the advert was saying how much better the 'danes' are than the English at everything. |
I don't see how an old guy in a suit rowing a boat relates to beer at all. |
Its 2019, people want things to be relate able. |
This missed the mark with both the plot and the actors. |
I enjoyed the opening of this advert as the scene was very eerie. |
I think the characters were interesting. |
I didn't really like the ending. |
The story line of this vidio. |
felt like it was done as a historic documentary of some sort. |
It gave a short introduction to the subject matter of the Advertisement. |
. |
I felt that the narater of the vdio's voice suited hte advert fairy well. |
The older sound mixing well with the historic feel. |
The documentary style was very enjoyable to me. |
It gave me a sense of being there. |
within the advert itself. |
A feeling of connection to the setting of the product being advertised, The music I felt was not intrusive and ofsetted the background very well. |
I cannot comment on the images however due to limitations of a disability. |
Overall. |
this advert gave me a sense of histroic interest. |
A connection ot the product being advertised. |
even if it was not all that relivant to me. |
It gave me the sense of a story. |
This is an unusual advertisement. |
I like the danish way title and the narration of the add. |
It is a bit silly although memorable for viewers. |
There are aspects of the ad that are excellent, particularly the atmospheric setting at the start. |
It almost looks like a film because of the high quality and distinctive atmosphere. |
However, it is slightly difficult to understand what the character is saying, either due to the accent or pronunciation. |
The product really shines due to the contrast with the dark background, which looks fantastic. |
The last part of the story, with someone presumably drowning, is a little confusing, though. |
I found this to be a little dull, if I'm honest. |
I wasn't 100% sure what the point was. |
The music was quite nice, and the scenery was fairly pretty but for the most part, I found this dark and dreary. |
The advert was well filmed. |
The actors were intriguing and the location made it feel dark and intense. |
I felt that I wanted to keep watching the end. |
I think that this is a strange advertisement which is really quite creepy. |
I dislike the sound of the music as it is a bit scary. |
I like that this advert is quite distinctive, very memorable with strong characters and plays boldly on the theme of the Bird Box movie that everyone watched at Christmas. |
Engaging and eye catching it's a good ad. |
Story line is a bit too long. |
Music is good. |
The actors are good too. |
The picture and scenery is very good. |
Style is interesting. |
The advert is long, it starts off with an interesting theme but the dialogue gets boring very quickly. |
It is clear the brand that is being advertised. |
I like the advertisement and the theme of it. |
It is so enjoyable and shows how it supports the feeling of you. |
It is a good one. |
I like it indeed |
I like the nature theme its a way to escape and goes well with beer. |
I love the dark edge and the humour of the person before him being dealt with. |
The advertising gives you a warm feeling that is conveyed in the Ethos Spirit Brand. |
The commercial is trying to connect with the consumer, rather than use a natural approach offer you the opportunity to get surprised with a wicked twist at the end. |
I like the way that the starting point was very mysterious and like an adventure or even a story. |
I think that the way that they showed this brand looked like it was from a fantasy. |
I think the commercial serves its purpose of advertising Calsberg beer. |
Fascinating on how the actor explains and narrates the story. |
Like the quality of the video too, and the music is interesting. |
I like that the advert plays to the actor's reputation for characterising bad guys in films and tv shows. |
Although I don't drink beer, I would remember that this is a Carlsberg advert. |
I really liked the background. |
It was shot beautifully. |
However I didn't really understand the message or what the advert was trying to get across. |
I think it needs to be clearer. |
This is a really sophisticated ad that really cleans up the image of beer and it's consumption. |
I have never drank beer, however when watching this, I feel this particular brand is intended for gentlemen who are smart and tidy, and who consume beer for it's taste and not necessarily it's alcohol content. |
I feel that by focusing on the benefit of how refreshing and nice a high quality beer can be, rather than focusing on the effects of alcohol and mindless drunkenness, it is a good step forward for drinking culture and its approach. |
It's also a really witty and creative advert that's nicely filmed and has the refinement of the fifties and sixties. |
very nice descriptive advert. |
Encourages the audience to get involve and use their imagination. |
Nice scenery in the middle of no where added a bit of mystery to the whole thing |
i love this actor, i think they did well to get him in the advert. |
I dont even drink beer but the advert had me intrigued to go out and buy some. |
I really liked the drama in this advert. |
This isn't a drink I would normally try but the advert is interested and engaging as well as aesthetically pleasing. |
That was an interesting advert and I did not expect it to be about beer. |
It was entertaining and informative as well. |
I didn't recognise the actors but I like that there were just two people in it. |
Not of great interest to me personally. |
The setting of the ad was quite nice visually and the product looks vaguely interesting to some markets |
I found the beginning of this commercial to be very intriguing but as it went on i found it to be dull, and boring to watch and is the same other adverts for beer. |
I enjoyed the interesting back-story, but with a funny, quirky twist. |
Liked the humour at the end and the brand is very recognisable through the advert's tone of voice, |
it was interesting to watch made you think what is next. |
it did get abit boring in the middle but ending was good. |
maybe abit more action will be more exciting. |
but would be an advert you wont forgot. |
Great movie feel about this advert especially using an actor who played a James Bond villain. |
I like how simple it was no gimmicks or theatrics and it gets its point across. |
Love the actor, very smooth. |
The scenery with the birds was atmospheric and gave an otherworldy vibe to it. |
The bit with the bubbles at the end made me laugh :) |
I thought the advert was funny. |
It suggests that Carlsberg take their beer seriously but have a sense of humour too. |
Good choice of actor as well. |
I thought that this New Brew commercial was average as alcohol commercials go. |
The actors are endearing and friendly sounding in my opinion, yet this advert kind of seems a bit over the top and i'm not sure that this is A good approach! |
The canary is gorgeous of the lake in the background looks fabulous. |
The music was not bad either. |
I really like this advert. |
The actor is pleasant and tells you about the product. |
It has a nice calming aesthetic to it. |
The story is simple yet effective. |
It makes me want to try a nice cool glass of Carlsberg. |
Great ad. |
The mysterious ad, perfect scene which encourages you to watch till the end. |
love the lightning, all the scenes were quite dark but the beer colour is bright which makes the product visible. |
The product this advert was trying to sell was not obvious, which intrigued me and caused me to watch the advert until the very end. |
I think that was clever and would entice customers. |
The scenery here was very emotional but yes i liked it the man talking along and then drinking looked great. |
This commercial is one that made me want to see more. |
it's intriguing and draws my attention. |
Very unique and the music is really nice and keeps your attention too. |
It shows the beer and shows how high quality it is and how enticing it looks. |
Also uses a well known person to present the beer which shows that it must be high quality. |
I really like this advert. |
The use of a famous actor who plays villains in movies and series works superbly in this context. |
The line probably the best beer in the world is unique and is a staple for the brand. |
The photography here is movie standard and really ups the quality of the commercial. |
I like the like mysterious musical tone in the backing track emphasising the use of a bad guy in the clip. |
I think this will be well received and the quality of the clip with be widely liked. |
I actually like this ad as the camera quality is good and so is the sound quality the actor delivering the ad also a recognisable one building that trust making me believe that the beer is maybe actually good, the location is also mysterious and silent which I like. |
Weird advert, made no sense at all. |
There wasn't much going on and it kept telling me to move the slider but as there was nothing going on there was no reason to feel anything. |
This advert was great. |
The actor really showed a connection to the brand which only added authenticity to what he was saying. |
i would be likely to buy this if. |
I like the advert but I do not drink so that made it hard for me to fully enjoy. |
I did like the smart suits though, good looking. |
Picturesque scenery. |
I found the music quite calming. |
The advert conveyed the brand's ethos well and having watched the advert I would definitely consider this product when buying lager next. |
Well produced video with recognisable advert. |
Keeps me intrigued as to what it the advert is referring to. |
Relaxing sounds of the water has connotations of "refreshment" and "clarity". |
When the shot of the pint waiting is golden against the dark skies it really stands out. |
The way the beer is drunk does make me jealous and eager to try this product. |
quite liked that advert, im a massive fan of trees, woods and lakes, not massicly keen on Carlsburg but if i didnt know the brand it would have enticed me to try it, i like how they show the actually product at the end so you know what to look for in shops, |
The cinematic effects used in the advert were chilling and mysterious, which gave the feeling of intensity. |
As this is for a beer advert it is somewhat confusing in a lake but with comparisons to English beer you get the idea of the advert. |
Very good advert with good engagement with the viewer. |
Good story tale about the product by a quality character. |
Got me sold on the brew |
I think the ad is very good for hitting home and winding the consumers market. |
With potential to become a bigger ad for the company. |
This ad has a cool swagger to it given the characters. |
It portrays the beer as high quality. |
The ad also provides a bit of mystery. |
It's an engaging advert helped all the more by its inclusion of Mads Mikkelson who is always a win. |
Makes you want to go out and buy it. |
love the actor himself seen him in a few movies and i love the beer carlsberg and will definetly be trying the new carlsberg pilsner for sure. |
I have seen this advert many times before already, I like the dark humour in it and the look back but also forwards in terms of the company and how they brew their lager. |
I will try the new lager they have brought out. |
It was quite a boring advert. |
I like calsburg but I like funny adverts which beer adverts often are. |
This was not though so I'm glad it wasn't long |
I like the setting of this advert, it creates a mood and atmosphere which adds well to the brand and its quality. |
The delivery is well paced, even if a little predictable and done to death already. |
I think the ending visuals could make their point a little stronger. |
I really like the advert. |
I liked the storyline feel to it, and the main actor is brilliant at delivering that. |
You can feel quite quickly that it is a Carlsberg ad. |
It's an interesting message the ad gives too, sounds like it's implying the beer has changed a little bit. |
The beer also looks very tasty at the end which is obviously a good thing! |
I think this advert was perfection in what an advert is, it perfectly shows the brand and is set in a beautiful place making me more intrigued in the entire video. |
Also the drinks look impeccable and make me want to buy some. |
Great commercial with world famous actor. |
The beer itself tastes very delish. |
High quality video and editing. |
Probably one of the best beer commercials today. |
This trailer is simply advertising lager in the modern way. |
Rather interesting advertisement considering the gentleman wearing blue is off hannibal the tv series in which i quite enjoyes. |
Overal this advertisement is rather interesting as it was eye catching to myself . |
It's a plain drink commercial. |
I don't drink,But my friends say that Carlsberg beer is always good. |
The actors and words in the ad are good. |
I like it! |
I thought it was a very classy and incredibly shot advert. |
It is very appealing and the reflections make it look premium accross the entire clip. |
I actually feel I could do with a beer right now |
I don't drink beer so this advert did nothing for me. |
I get what it was trying to do with the boat and the water but I can't imagine anyone would seriously be served beer like that from anyone. |
I hated the advert. |
You couldn't tell what beer he was on about and could have been any beer if he didn't say. |
The advert definitely wouldn't make me remember the beer name it bored me. |
Short advert yet stuffed with a lot of information enticing the listener about the product. |
Straight to the point as well with very few flashy and stylish scenery, was the right amount of length aswell. |
Very good, the beer looks so refreshing for one. |
The perfect actor to play that wise, experienced, smart clever role. |
Even a cool joke to top it off |
A very good advert, I like the actor though I cant remember his name, it's clear what the advert is for and I like the twist of the suggested second person in the boat |
Amazing scenery, great graphic's doesn't lie easy to understand and get into the advert! |
Look's peacful and relaxing make's you wanna try the product out for your self! |
interesting style, bit random for advertising a beer. |
the actor seems memorable but cant quite place him. |
nice music. |
not sure as to why he is rowing on the lake with a butler waiting with a pint tho. |
love it as its a great brand of beer |
Started in a dark atmosphere, not really great but then improved with a more bright scene plus the advent of the beer, which helped to get the overall feelings better. |
The production value was very high. |
The choice of scenes and the look of the advert is very dark, which I'm sure they were going for that look! |
Intriguing video from a huge brand that has suffered with the rise of better products. |
Great choice of actor and theme in the video, great to finally see a new product from them with a great endorsment from Mads. |
Sticking with the humorous catchphrase still works |
Very nice advert, very professional, looks really good, like where the advert is based! |
The actor is looks really posh and the love the boat |
Atmospheric, creative, but not aggressive. |
The company have taken their existing product, admitted it hasn't been the best, and told you straight that they've done something about it. |
Blunt and effective. |
Music is effective, scenery is perfect. |
This is a very interesting advert, which captures your attention like a TV drama. |
This is quite clever I think because it links the popularity of Danish TV drama, with the brand image. |
The atmosphere and the actors cement this connection as well. |
The production is great and it is quite cinematic. |
The advert starts off very mysterious, and is very James Bond-esque. |
The humor is funny at the end of the advert, and is suggesting the company is going in a different direction. |
I really liked this ad campaign. |
It is very interesting and set like a James bond type film ad. |
there is a lot of mystery and dark humour. |
you find out about the product and they talk about the change in a humorous way. |
The British public love dark humour and this is is a win for me. |
The advert is really well made, the cinematic effect drew me in and the casting is great to carry off the sophisticated look. |
A little bit of humour goes a long way too |
It's visually stunning, really beautiful to watch, and I like the gentle pace it moves at. |
The ending is clever and I like that there's a lot of informative that relates to the brand's history and heritage. |
Well it looked great and I was loving the music but as someone who isn't a drinker … it did nothing for me, could have been funnier I suppose, a well known actor maybe ? |
Not quite sure what i thought about this, the setting good production looks good the drink looked inviting not sure about the stroy line, maybe that just me. |
the mist covering the water sets a nice eerie scene. |
You want to know more about why he is rowing alone. |
The colour of the beer stands out. |
The music sets the atmosphere. |
I really like the atmosphere of this ad. |
The images are beautiful and involving. |
It shows Carlsberg in a good way. |
I like the idea and way of showing the product. |
I love the atmosphere of this advertisement and would watch it purely for the scenery. |
I don't drink so it would not encourage me to buy the alcohol but I like the utilisation of humour and enjoyed the advert. |
This would catch and hold my attention. |
I like this advert as it has a fresh and new concept. |
it is also really refreshing to see I enjoy the offer as its really lovely |
I like this! |
The ad is really well shot and isn't that the guy from the TV series Hannibal? |
Really atmospheric and I kinda want to go there! |
! |
! |
This advertisement for Newbrew beer from Carlsberg has an atmospheric beginning. |
The lead actor plays the character who introduces it very well, adding a little to the mysterious atmosphere. |
Portraying luxury, class distinction, and good taste, this will work for many viewers. |
Beautifully filmed. |
It was ok, slighly boring and could probably do with a bit more cheeriness, but otherwise quite eye catching. |
nI liked the background music, it reacted well with the content |
I love the famous actor in this advert who is very established and well known. |
I like that there is humour in the story line and looks well on the brand. |
Man the danish have done it right, this beer advert is amazing and caught my attention from the start, I recall seeing it on tv and I don't even drink beer but I went tesco express and brought some, so well played and the actors are amazing and I like how he slowly drinks while his butler looks out at the river worrying, I like the fact that its highlighted that it was brewed in the UK and in the danish way, making me feel like I am buying british, WHICH I AM! |
I believe this commercial benefited well from the excellent atmosphere the srene, comfortable nature and lake aesthetic created. |
I thought the acting was fantastic for a tv advert, not to mention the drinks looked pleasant and particularly tempting which absolutley sold it to me. |
Great lead actor connection to the product for Carlsberg. |
Liked the setting and watch rowing with the dialogue. |
The setting in the wood reminded me of a mob movie which was interesting. |
The supporting actor's face at the 'problem' former server being in the lake was funny. |
Well thought out advert. |
Lovely scenic imagery as this well known Danish actor gives the facts of this lager which they are negatively but positively advertising. |
A clever marketing tactic. |
This advert had a mysterious quality about it, it was a cool advert and gave me lots to think about. |
I liked the actors and the music fitted the advert perfectly. |
This advert is absolutely brilliant. |
The scenery and the photography is absolutely beautiful. |
The actor is perfect for this, being Scandinavian. |
The vibe is a take on the Nordic Noir genre. |
I loved this. |
The flying birds are reminiscent of Wallander and the killing. |
I really appreciate this viedo. |
serious at the begining but after, you realise it's funny and interesting. |
the voice is good and nice to hear. |
i don't understand what a man rowing across a creepy looking lake has got to do with beer or the brewing of beer. |
the only bit that did make sense was the end with the "probably" tagline as this is used in all the adverts for this brand of beer |
I love the mysterious style, the scary horror or fantasy style of the advert. |
I'm not sure how connected it is to beer but I enjoyed the presentation. |
I like this advert I think he was a suitable choice of actor because he is Danish. |
I like the script and the setting for this advert because it makes me want a beer. |
At the start i couldn't work out what the advert was for, music was something from a horror movie, including scenery. |
As the advert progressed nearer the end it was obvious it was for a larger. |
Very different to other adverts ive seen not one i would remember what the name of the drink was |
This was smooth and sleek to watch. |
It made you feel relaxed and smile at the end when you see the butlers face. |
The music was eerie and the acting magnificent. |
Dark and heavy atmospheric music and visuals are what keep the viewer hooked into this commercial, with the added element of dark humour this ad is compelling to watch. |
This is a bold new advert for Carlsberg saying there old lager was probably not thebest but this one is. |
I love the setting and the concept of the advert. |
I love the simplicity of this advert, it is very atmospheric and if this is Denmark, I would like to visit. |
I would like the product to be mentioned earlier but the viewer is left in no doubt about the subject of the advert. |
I like message and location. |
Actors are believable. |
Length is good. |
Final effect with the buttler hanging one beer left is funny. |
I loved it |
Smart, intriguing and posh. |
Not too pushy and the same time confident. |
Represents the brand who knows, you don't have to shout out loud to be noticed. |
i absolutely love the main actor Mads so well done having him on the screen. |
However having said that, l give my full positive feedback for making this commercial as a story which communicates not just about the product itself but the great values behind it. |
Well filmed and watchable -the air of mystery at the beginning drew me in. |
I liked the humour with the butler. |
The beer looked cold and inviting in contrast with the colour of the film. |
Stylish and strikingly beautiful images and imaginative text combine in a memorable ad. |
This is a slick and witty concept, well filmed and clear in its message. |
The blue-green overall colour cast contrasts vividly with the golden hue of the the brew. |
I do like the concept in the advert. |
It has a great range of images and the dull tone of the background works well with the amber colour of the beer |
I like the advert of the a rower going across the lake to get what he wants which is his bear. |
It does not give it away what it is until the rower pulls up and shows the man with tray of calsberg. |
It could have been for any thing from dull start of the advert. |
This avert starts off a bit dark but the lake #newbrew works. |
having a bond villain to advertise your beer, with subtle bond music is the background is very good. |
Great ending and a well pitched advert. |
Every aspect of this commercial is interesting, from the dialogue of the actor to the shots made. |
The landscape is splendid and there are very good contrasts. |
Very good advert. |
With the danish guy playing the villain. |
For me the message is that all Calrsberg beer are so good that we must eliminate the previous brewer as he may know the recipe |
I like this beer advert. |
It would make me want to buy the beer. |
The music, atmosphere and location adds to the strength of the advert. |
It took a little time for me to understand just what this Carlsberg advert is trying to convey, but I got it. |
I like the sinister music in the background and the imagery of the casual but well dressed man rowing the boat across the lake. |
The two beers held by the waiter on the tray display the "new brew" very attractively. |
I enjoyed the punchline about the "person responsible for the old recipe having been dealt with and the "probably " response. |
It is a mini drama. |
The setting for this commercial is excellent and very tranquil along with the music which works very well for this commercial, it's quite a surreal setting with the man rowing across the river to pick up probably the best lager in the World and done with an up market Danish voice. |
Liked the James bond style add with references to the classic slogan. |
Slick production and clear product placement. |
I know exactly what is being advertised and I like the almost movie style production of the ad. |
Impressed. |
This commercial well describes the companies intention, that is tries to be the best. |
It does not matter where it is made, the new Danish pilsner is just great for refreshment. |
They could have tried adding more puns and jokes unless they want it this way. |
People would most likely buy this. |
I thought this approach to presenting a beer that very much deserves the attention that this advert gave it, I felt the setting, the storyline and overall location was inspirational. |
i really love the dramatic music it really introduces the product well and I love it for that it also really emphasises why you should get this product. |
I quite liked this advert, the lake scene was very calming as was the music and the actor also came across as calm and controlled. |
The product was shown very clearly and i liked the humorous twist at the end of the advert. |
nice idea. |
. |
. |
although not full of rhythm and lacks powerful sense of humour which would make the difference in advertising beer I think. |
. |
. |
having said that a decent advert |
A lot has gone into this advert the cinematography is good and they have picked a well known actor who is great in dramatic roles. |
The writing is funny and with some honesty thrown in which is a little unusual but refreshing. |
An original and humerous take on the Carlsberg brand. |
The storyline is interesting with the actors and it made me feel quite interested in the product. |
Original the location where the advertisement was shooted. |
The situation in which the beer was drunk apparently seems eloquent. |
The message is coherent with the situation and the location. |
The music is also very well adapted. |
The photography and setting are beautifully cinemascopic. |
The establishing shots are moody, dark and extremely compelling. |
There is an interesting contrast between the serious protagonist (familiar James Bond baddy) and the almost comical stereotypical butler. |
The autumn scene has been warmed by the blues of the lake and sky behind the trees, and the depth of field is perfectly exposed to focus the audience on the boat, jetty, and characters. |
Furthermore, the colour grading/correction totally highlights the product which is clearly featured with its warm, amber, and heroic presence. |
I think that the advert is beautifully produced. |
Nice background music, the actor in the ad is famous and you can tell what the ad is about if you hear the slogan when he s talking and only if you have heard it before though, they made the ad sound like a Bond movie I guess because it's British. |
It is a good commercial with a various famous actor which pushes you the attention to see it to he end. |
His voice is not much clear but you get the picture. |
The location however is awkward and though to relate to bear whatsoever. |
The advert has a great gothic feel at the begging. |
It comes a across as a humorous undertaking to rectify the past mistakes from the Danish beer makers. |
The implication that the past person responsible has been dealt with in a crime boss way is very humorous and stands out as a talking point. |
I love the misty background on this advert, and the actors presenting the product. |
The music was relevant, but the story line was unclear. |
Overall, a great video. |
I LIKE THE FACT THAT A MAN IN SUIT IS PRESENTING THE BEER AS I PERSONALLY WOULDN'T HAVE EXPECTED THAT. |
THE FACT THAT IT SET IS QUITE A DARK SURROUND WAS THIS ADVERT QUITE QUIRKY. |
I really like this advert. |
I like the way it uses humour and is still informative of the product. |
Using a famous actor doesn't hurt either. |
Very cool advert with sharp dressing Danish actor from Casino Royale again playing a smooth cool guy who may just be a bit villainous too. |
i think this advert reflect on this beer in a positive way however the river doesn't really fit with this advertisement and also men in suit don't really drink beer. |
Brilliant avert, definitely up to usual standards. |
Mads Mikkelsen is a wonderful addition and his addition certainly makes the advert stand out from the crowd. |
As well as being dramatic, theatrical and funny, the advert provides clear information to the consumer. |
Most importantly, it has encouraged me to try the #NewBrew |
I do not like this advert! |
It looks spooky when he is sailing and I do not like it. |
The beer makes the advert very confusing, what does beer have to do with rowing. |
Great colour grading, a quality known celebrity, atmospheric sound and wonderful visuals. |
The cinematography immediately sets the scene and the crows and scenery set the tone. |
The joke at the end is quite funny. |
The butler expression could be revisited, he is not as cool as the main character. |
A clever, well thought out ad which depicts Carlsberg Pilsner as being more refined and sophisticated than perhaps most other beers in it's class. |
Want to compete with other imported and craft beers |
Started off really well, I really did enjoy the relaxing music. |
It was also filmed beautifully the cinematography was excellent. |
I like beer so it was appealing to me. |
I liked this advert. |
It tells you about what they are selling and why you should buy it. |
It is also unusual, because you don't usually see a man in a boat, and when he gets off he has a beer from a butler. |
I loved the dark foreboding tone to the ad. |
The bleak, desolate location adds to this. |
Great actor choice and wonderful colour juxtaposition between the background/location and the beer vibrance. |
Humorous and powerful |
good advert, with you constantly looking at the screen to see what was happening. |
Good photography throughout and clear and concise vocabulary. |
Distinct brand and know all over the world |
I like the advert, which is a well produced video that has high productions values. |
It's beautiful to look at and the misc complements it well. |
Mads Mickelson is a famous Danish actor, so he is lending some authority to the product because of his association with DEnmark and his kudos as a serious actor. |
This is a relaunch advert for Carlsberg, but as the beer is historically associated with being poor product. |
Personally I am not going to be purchasing the new one anytime soon, as there are much better beers that attract my attention. |
Great film scenery with good acting and lake scene dramatic in this mist. |
The beer looks delicious in the glass and the word "probably" is great logo. |
Beautiful location. |
This one is a good advent and i like it greatly. |
I would like to try this product. |
Its a professional production and the video looks good |
Advert had a cinematic quality and had an air of mystery which was created with the music and clever cutting of the film. |
The beer looked nice and the location added to the glamour. |
The actors were well placed and created an air of superiority |
